So then Day 1b

Day1a brought us 91 runners, of whom 25 made it through including chip leader John Earls with a whopping 165,000 ahead of dangerous players like Neil Channing, Sam Grafton, Rumit Somaiya and Graham Wheldon.

Typically Day1bs are busier. People can take a day off work, come for the weekend to sample the delights of the Luton Arndale centre and not have to worry about that spare day and extra hotel costs if you qualify on Day1a and play on Day 2.

I reckon 150 plus today. What do you think?

Adrian Rockstar and I will begin coverage at 2pm, hopefully helped by our glamourous and frankly far more efficient assistant Carla Rockstar.

See you then.

DTD Road Trip

The following players will be representing DTD today following their Live and Online Satellite successes with DTD

Malcolm Muskett (Malc M)

Jonathan Grice (MPower)

Matt Russell (EvilPie)

Graham Giles

Richard Turner

Harvey Butters

(and whoever else Alex can persuade to wear the badge....)

Good luck to them all.

Once more thank yous to DTD and a host of individuals for taking care of the costs of this update

Thank you also to a host of people who dropped by yesterday and gave a few minutes, and in some cases a few hours to help out with chip counting, photo taking and the like. Much appreciated.

Today I will be mostly teaching Rockstar how to upload photos onto the update ahead of his solo weekend. Wish me luck. I can't imagine Jon Bon Jovi would be so technophobic......just my luck.

It's 1.40am...I've done a twelve hour stretch.....there's no Jon Raab anymore so I've had to copy down chip counts off chip bags and manually enter them. I'm aching, I'm tired. Rockstar is on his 8th Corona.

Up bounds Alex from DTD, fresh from being bought Bollinger '96 in the bar by assorted fellas....

"Hey Rich, we're going to the gay bar up the road, want to come?"
