I am sat 400bbs deep, villain has around 300bbs
Villain is a niity chinese guy, plays quite alot of hands, but doesnt put alot of money into the pot much. Hasn't played a hand for about 90 minutes and recent convo has shown his frsutration. Called a £22 open with
previously, but folded a flush on a paired board, after villain numero two, called from sb, led flop, c/c when flush came then led river when board paired.
Full ring, I straddle to £4
Villain limps button
SB folds
BB completes
Hero raises to £15 from straddle w/
- both call.
Flop is
BB checks
I bet £20
Villain calls
BB folds
turn is
I bet £37
He calls
River is
He bets £135
Hero? / why.
Also thoughts on turn bet?

I'm not sure I like the decision to raise pre, and once you do I think you make it too small and the flop + turn bets are also too small.
Dunno what to do on the river. Find a soulread? Failing that, fold I think.
Raised pre to get HU w/ the chinese guy.
In this game most people keep their £25 chips and bet lots of £5 chips. He used all £25 chips and was tapping his cards up and down on the felt ( i couldnt see a peak ) but kept quiet as I muttered "this is so sick".
Can he only ever have 7x or a bluff here? and does he call the turn with 7x? Q7ss, K7ss only hands which make sense that arent in that range. I doubt he bets so big with a full house and I don't think he ever has Kx when he bets like this so my hand is theoreticaly aces right?

Sigh
So so close to getting a plus one from JK! If only I had commented on the small pre flop raise.
Must try harder.

With a middle pair and every backdoor draw in the book, against a guy who is more likely to take a free card with draws (given your description) i think i prefer checking the flop or turn. As it is you've bloated the pot with a meh hand now needing to search for the hero inside yourself.
As played i'd probably snap i don't give these live fellas credit for value betting nearly thinly enough and is likely to be polarised. Expect to see 89hh/9thh type hands, Only hand i can see him play this way is KT, i doubt this fishy bets KJ on the river.
