That is honestly easier said than done with PLO, I start to make mistakes with more than 3 tables............

he's a donko with these like that. Its Adam (u met him at wsope i think) no idea on winrate, sample or anything like that. If he had a bit more knowledge/guidance in some important aspects of poker he would not be broke. He can play thou no doubt about that and like i said he has lived off the game for yrs. He's won 1000's of 4 fig cash pots and some 5 fig ones aswell and hes biggest mtt cash was 20k but he also has tilt/control issues and a lack of brm and knowledge/acceptance of variance

assuming he's pretty lag, give him 100 buy ins. 50/50 after makeup is fair

I have a mate who has been playing poker for a living now for about 6 yrs but is now basically completely broke partly because of spending/wasting to much of his winnings and mainly shocking BRM. He is decent at both nlh cash and mtt but most of his money in the last couple of years has probably come from PLO. So im thinking about giving him some sort of staking deal although i have no idea as to what yet.

If i were to stake him for say 100k hands of PLO .25/.50 or 0.5/1 to start with for example what sort of financial committment do i need to make? What BR does he need for this? Also if it was 100k hands how much rb would roughly be earnt on say 27% on ftp?
Finally, how long would it take him to play 100k hands 6 max. He is not the greatest at multi tabing. Lets say 3 tables and 40hrs a wk for example, how long would it take to grind out 100k?

Cheers

Will you sleep better with this information?

I have staked/been staked for low stakes PLO I sent 30 buyins and told him to ask for more money if he needed it. I was prepared for 100buyin swings.
When i got staked i got sent 50buyins and told to drop down if had more than 20buyin downswing.

Both times we did 50/50 profit split.

I think it should take him 10weeks, he will surely play more than 3 tables? its impossible to get decent volume in playing any less than 6 imo. as you say 3/4 tabling is probably optimal, but itssss all about the hourly Smiley

I have 110k hands of 100plo on my database and raked $11k and change.
