I honestly don't know why people get upset over being banned from a poker forum FFS, its not like its real life. It would probably do me a favour if I ever got banned, I could go and do more productive things rather than talking shyte on here...........

Agreed.

And I wouldn't want to be a member of an internet forum that banned me anyway.

I must admit when Rookie helped out in the Blatch thing I assumed his blonde ban would be lifted.

You really shouldn't have let him help untangle the mess if you weren't going to let him post again imo.

Also, we have banned people 'permanently' in the past and then after a period of time allowed them to come back on.  In fact, turny can attest to that.

I thought that's what had happened to Rookie, you banned him permanently but removed the ban after the Blatch thing.

There were plenty of other posters who could have done the same job as Rooks (not saying what he did was easy, or he didn't do it well).

Just seemed unfair to reinstate the ban after he had helped so much.

What I'm trying to say is: You shouldn't have accepted his help if you were going to continue with the ban imo.

I've stayed out of all the banning/Kev/drama/blondener threads as much as possible and will continue to because all I want from a poker forum is a giggle and to talk about poker (I waded in on the grimming threads but they are actually poker related).

Just wondering, could we have a separate board for these particular threads? Maybe a 'Discussions about Blonde' board or something? These threads are starting to take over the forum a bit and also, they surely would be offputting for potential new members who come on and see lots of personal debates being aired in public. No matter what peoples issues are with some blonde/mod decisions, I am sure we all still want the forum to thrive.

Im not saying dont have the threads, just keep them in a separate place for people that want to debate in them, and keeping the Rail to actual poker chat.

It wasn't Blondepoker that he helped. It was some of the members. " blonde Poker will not become involved in disputes as to the stake itself under any circumstances but will moderate public boards in line with its guidelines for flaming etc."

I spoke to tikay this morning and we've also decided to, temporarily at least, unban rooks account as he can help. Also there will be no confusion as to which of ling and rooks is posting. Its up to you guys in what is an awful situation for many to make this work on here please"

Thank you Sandy.  I don't know about anyone else, but the logic behind that decision seemed sound at the time?

Sensible suggestion.  I'll put it to the others.

Desperate tbh but some kind of sense i suppose. Floppy seemed to do more but then there was a lot that went on behind the scenes that people like me never find out and others allude to in an almost taunting way so maybe it makes more sense and his participation was bigger than it looks.

Of course, I kinda think a child board for this stuff would be better though, somewhere to talk about Blonde, the business, the politics of it all etc.

I wouldnt want to pollute all the threads about my dogs testicals and which senior citizen you would definitely bonk with this sort of stuff.
