Another suggestion

I think the prize of a live seat at DTD is financially not viable to a lot of players who would have to pay hotel/travel cost etc if they dont live in the area.

Maybe a seat into an online game would attract more players?

I recall many moons ago when I was new to blonde they were running a promotion for Mansion. I cant remember the details but I won a seat into the Sunday night $200 buyin. I was a $2/5 sit and go player so this was a HUGE deal for me. I went on to cash the min for $500 :-) Maybe some new/low stake players might be encouraged to play the league if they can still sit behind a keyboard in their PJs ;-)

DTD are supporting these leagues with £500 a month in added value, which I chose to split between the winners two leagues, a 300 Deepstack seat in one, a 200 seat in the other. They did this each month in 2010 also until June, when I left it for the Summer months..and many of the regular players in these Leagues have played big live comps at DTD this year thanks to the DTD added value.

DTD have indicated they'll repeat the £500 in October, which is great and I know will be appreciated

However there are only 12-15 players supporting the league, and at tops this figure was 25 early in the year. I'm grateful to everyone who does, of course.

DTD have also indicated that unless "numbers pick up in the leagues" then the added value part of the DTD/blonde arrangement will stop at the end of October.

This is frustrating, but understandable.

I'm all ears. I know I am beating a dead horse but as I am repeatedly short of inspiration here, what format will get those of you who don't play, or play very little, to play more in these leagues please? Or what should I replace the leagues with?

Can a Blonde league be done like there used to be on Ipoke,pretty sure they'd get more runners.Tbh I cba to sit and play a couple of mtt's after grinding all day but would be in for a league game just for the banter and the fact they only take a few hours.Just my two penneth.

It can, but they were tried too...mucho admin hassle for 15 runners....the consensus was to try network wide games and give maximum flexibility.

No reason why it can't go back to "closed" MTTs but would need to be far more runners to be worth the time to set them up
