Dave Metcalf limps in early and Mark Attridge checks his option

flop

Attridge leads for 9,000, Metcalf all in for 90,000

Attridge folds showing

Metcalf shows  for the flopped straight

After all, you can't be too careful when you flop the nuts.

14 left. Tariq Arees went in 15th after getting it all in with J-10hh against Kevin Pearce's 8-8 on a 4-5-7hh board and missing.

Mad Turk is down to dust after he called a 16k raise from Chris Brion preflop, check-called 17k on the 4-J-7 flop, check-called 20k on the 4 turn and they both checked the river. Brion had 8-8 which was good.

Great updates as standard for Blonde.

Having no horse this month running I'd like to See Lawrence Gosney take this down.
Bumped into him at MGM as I was heading for the lifts at 1am.
We went for a Beer and I finally hit the Sack @  6am Battered. He went to Bellagio for some cash.

Gave me some advise which got me out of a hole playing cash later in the week @ MGM.

Also a bit of luck to Quinn due to his brother Dwayne's Vegas gig. Top bloke is he.

Regards

Wagner limped UTG for 8k and McBride limped the BTN. Attridge made up from the SB and Gosney made it 38k from the BB. Wagner called and everyone else passed.

The flop came down two spades and both players checked.

The turn was the and Gosney checked. Wagner bet 45k and Gosney called.

The river was the and both players checked, which is where it got interesting. Wagner flipped for a set of tens and Gosney just sat there with a rueful smile on his face. The dealer then pushed the pot towards Wagner and killed the board. Gosney's cards were still behind the "line". As this happened, TD Richard came over to do the chip race and Lawrence immediately asked what would happen if he declared a winning hand, as the board had been scooped by the dealer and Wagner was stacking the pot. Richard ruled that as the dealer had not shuffled, the pot was still live and if Gosney was able to show a winning hand, then the pot would be rebuilt and sent Gosney's way. Lawrence then slowly turned over the and said that any Ace or any 9 the pot was his, Richard confirmed this. A laugh, and the was flipped. Relief on Wagner's face, who thought the pot was over because the dealer had scooped the board!
