We're down to 8.

A short-stacked Rana Gurnam moved all in over the top of a Chris Brion raise, and Brion was priced in to call which he did.

Brion:

Gurnam:

The flop was a nice , but the on the turn was a hammer blow to Rana, who missed the river and leaves us in 9th place, taking home £1,623.

Gl to Alan Mc Bink and Jin Ze Wu two Luton regs, and Chris Brion an occasional Luton player

Chris Brion is our new chip leader.

An innocuous looking flop of saw Brion, Gosney and Jonathan Titcombe all with cards. Gosney bet 27k and Titcombe called. Brion raised to 100k and Gosney moved all in! Titcombe passed as Brion snap called, as you do with the nuts - . Lawrence had and missed on the turn and river.

Brion had 400k after the flop so that pot was worth about 900k and Brion is a massive chip leader!

A few confrontations, a couple of split pots but not much movement in the chip topography until

Short Stacked Kev Pearce pushes utg for 120,000, 10xbb

Titcombe looks him up on the button with A-J off

Pearce declares he has only seen one card, the Ace of spades

sheepishly reveals the 4 of clubs with it

but, after a

3-5-Q-4-8 board he doubles through to 250,000 plus

Shortstacks now McBride, Wu

Comfortable Pearce, Garrett, Titcombe, Wagner

Biggies Gosney, Brion

Alan McBink yet to play a hand at the final

The owlish Wu, who ian't a Twitterer apparently, just doubled through Lawrence Gosney after Gosney made it 30k bvb, Wu pushed for 70k and Lawrence called.

Wu:

Gosney:

The board ran out meaning Wu spiked his three outer to go up to 150k in chips.

Alan McBride moved all in next hand over the top of a 35k Gosney button raise. An unhappy Gosney passed A-10os.
