Chris Brammer comes back 3rd in chips in the 50r action hour, great structure and he is an absolute sicko, so looks pretty bleak for us.

Hopefully he doesnt play the heads ups too so he concentrates a little bit more and we can find that edge.


If he wins which he has a good chance ofn then I think its 74k ftw.

ITM of the SCOOP HU Low, and whilst I dont care about the 18.99 mincash, it importantly adds up a second cash for me. Cashing some of the low events is what I banked on to give me a good chance.

Day 3



Ok so the 2 day sweats from the second day were pretty annoyinf, Brammer went and won around 12k in the 50r, putting him wayyyyyyyyyyyy ahead.


I was really looking forward to this day though.

Firstly we had the HU

Low - I ended up getting in the money, which is great for part 1 of the bets with most people. I busted AT  v A5 and couldnt go on a v deep run unfortunately, but a cash is a cash

Medium - I bubbled this one I think, I lost QJ, where I limp pre with huge dznamic, he raises I call and we find J82 and he had kings, so rofl.

High - I lost to Faraz Jaka who played pretty meh, but we won so wev.


We then had the "Super Tuesday"

Low - I went pretty deep, then ended up 5bet folding half my stack away on the flop against a stubborn Skandi, I had A3 on TT3 and we raised my 1 3rd pot sized cbet and I 3bet, he 4bet quickly and I think he would peel most tens so I 5bet and he jammed. V weird, but whatever. Something I have to realize vs MTT players is they dont think logically or in ranges so have to be careful sometimes before putting in that last bet

Medium - Hmm, I think we busted AK v 98s

High - In one of the most important tournaments of the schedule we 3bet a fish and he jammed with KJ we were happy with our AJ until the K came ott, marvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvelous.


Some people made some cashes (remember Triggs bet is JUST money won) but Iám still in OK shape.


vs Spinks, im wining 2 - 0 in cashes and obviously cashed more, he is deep in ST though, nearish the money  he is still in the super tuesday tho.
vs Bart, im winning 2 - 1 in cashes and Ive cashes for around 1100 more
vs Leguito, im winning 2 - 1 in cashes in Ive cashes for around 1100 more
vs Toby, we are tieing in cashes, but ive cahses around 900 more
vs Trigg, we are only doing most cahses and Im winning by around 500
vs BassySafari, Im winning 2 - 1 in cahses and Ive cashd for around 1k more
vs NigdawG , we are tieing in cashes, but he has cashes around 11k more
vs Luckyno75, she is winning in cashes and winning in amounts bz around 800
vs Mement Mori Im winning in most cashes and Ive cashes 1200 more

I had T8 v 77 and AA  on 976 for a triple bounty plus a big stack in the Super Knockout.

Would have been really big, pretty sad now run bad continues.

Ah well, another tiny cash was a small consolation as LUFCBAS finalled the Super Tuesday to put him chunks in front.

Most of the other guys bricked apart from Chazmanchaz who also got a chunky cash in the Super Tuesday.

We learned today that min cashing these 1ks is really important in the grand scheme of things of this bet.

Just a couple of quick random poker related questions:

1) if someone had £100 to put on any site to play any game what would you play to have the best chance of building a bankroll, this is assuming they have the same skill level in each game STT/MTT/Cash

2) What do you think the minimum you personally could start with and not ever have to deposit again? eg. $100, play $2.50 180's and move up etc

Just had epic night.

Basically the company have 12 company flats that new staff members/vips stay in for X amount of time. I luckboxed the sickest one and today my Czech flatmate invited whole company for a party at our apartment. Fastforward to 6pm, 1 hour before we were due to start letting people in one of our line managers informed him it wasn't a wise decision so we had to cancel the party.

We instead met like 30 of the staff at the local casino and started drinking/gambling. I had quite a few degen sessions of slots and then I went to play poker......

First hand is a "spalsh pot" whoever wins gets £20 to bet in the casino, 9 limpers and I jam blind for £150 (150bbs) some Spanish fish snaps me off for £60 or so and my J4o beats his q9. I give the £20 to one of my colleagues, Melvin and he goes upstairs in pursuit of run good. I get the message that he put £5 on 4 numbers and one of them came in, he comes back with my money and I obv give him 50%++

The table is now full of my colleagues and as we all specialise in poker it was pretty fun. I build my stack up to £450 and then lose £150 when I get heroed off the guy to my right. We were 3/4/5betting eachother alot and it was pretty fun. Next hand he is UTG, he raises, I call and utg+2 raises, we both show our suited connectors and UTG+2 has aces. Fastforward 9 hands later and he raises to £14 UTG again, I 3bet to £34 from UTG+1 and it folds back to him, he tanks for a while and makes it £90 and I jam for £310, he snaps and I show 67hh, he obv has KK.  Flop is 67Ar and he starts going absolutely insane. It was a pretty fucking huge pot tbf, but anyway things got a littttttle heated.Not from my side anyway as I believed it was pretty standard at the time.

I mentioned Melvin before, he is the youngest person in the company ( I am the second ) we were propping/sharing blackjack bankrolls/drinking/shotting/propping on colours every hand etc etc. We hadn't 3bet eachother at all but we definitely felt it coming. He was on my direct left and we both had lots of money infront of us.

Last 3 hands please gentleman.. first two hands I win and then the third hand there is a raise in the c/o (playijng 5 handed) I call the button with a6ss and Melvin 3bets to £35 from the small blind. We all call and there is £155 in the pot and we are all pretty stacked.

The flop is a pretty lovely AQ6 and Melvin bets £70, folds to me and I jam it all and he sigh calls with AK. We had been betting alot all night, drinking together, being degenerate and he had made me money. I let him take what he had behind him back and I took the pot £300ish. I really felt like I just didnt deserve to win the pot, he can't fold and I have luckboxed two pair with sio much metagame in the last hand of the night, it wasn't how I wanted to win more money (I was already up over 5 bi's) Hopefully karma treats me well over next few weeks as I am playing reallllly well in little pots and its adding up to some nice figures

Pretty demoralising

Played the 2k big antes and lost AK v AJ after a K52 flop, arghhhhh, really love that tournament.

Then 1 tabled for around 5 hours the 10r and cashed for a small amount but its good for the bet.
