Been following this story in the papers for some time.

The background to this case is horrifying; what shocks me is how lenient and weakly Wiltshire Constabulary have commented on this. Furthermore the sentence hand down is disgraceful. Minimums 3 years IMO.

Out after serving 6 days inside !!!!

He is allowed to appeal in the sentance.

Nepotism or what !!

Apparently he has lodged an appeal requesting a slightly longer sentence.

Abs max 4 weeks.. was it a magistrates? if so surprised he even went as he could appeal and go to crown court without having to go inside then get it reduced to say community service on appeal...

dont ask me how i know all this... it was a long time ago and he can still walk with a limp
