Playing £1/£1 at the vic. UTG+2, I look down at Aces. Limp limp, I make it £8 to go. Called by a drunken foreign guy who is an absolute fish, obv doesn't know how to play. One other caller.

3 players to flop. Key player has £110ish, hero covers and in position

Flop: K Q J rainbow
Check to me, I bet £12, fish calls, other guy folds.

Turn: 8
Checks to me, bet 15, fish calls

River: 8
Fish leads for 20.

Flat/raise/fold?

Never folding especially now we beat all 2 prs that are deffo possibilities.

Reckon it is probably quite close between raising and calling as this villain is likely to call us with all those aforementioned 2pr and possibly bare k's. Meh I would probs call cos I am nit I would feel sick getting shoved on.

I prefer a check back on the turn, the board is pretty nasty and a ton of rivers really suck.

As played on the river I probably put him in

I dont like your bet sizing. You make it 8 pre and get two callers, there's like 24 in pot. Checks to you on that board, I am betting more than 12, more like 15-16. If you get one caller, the pot gets to like 56 and vill. would have like 86 left. Bet like 28-30 or so on turn and pots at like 116 and vill. has 56 behind. Get it in on river.

If a fishy villain is donking on river, you cant just freeze and just call. You're losing a lot of value from worse 2 pairs and random 1 pair that the fish will pay you off with.

Aware my bet sizing wasn't great. The turn bet was, tbh, to try andget raised by 2 pair/straight, though with the bet as small as it was it's inducing a raise from 1 pairs. Idk, I hate how bad the sizings were though.

I took the 'losing value against 2 pair line'. Just couldn't let myself flat for him to show me KQ and just over min raised. Left him 20 behind and he flats with A10. Nice.

Not too fussed about the hand in general, though appreciate constructive criticism. I just wanted to know mainly wether raising the river is terrible here or a decent line.

We are in position (utg+2) against I presume the fish (who is either utg or utg+). Flop action is checked to us and we fire 12 quid.

As a stnd id check the turn most of the time I think, but if the guy really is terrible id bet £40 so you can shove the river for £60 and he'll call pretty much anything

As played Yeah flick the call in. Jamming defo has merits, depends what kind of fish he is? I mean if he decides to VB KQ then yeah defo shove, not sure many stnd fish would
