seems quite close to me... could just fold or raise/re-eval depending on who does what. if i wasnt sure what to do when each potential villain were to 3bet id probably just muck.

I shove. If it were actually utg, I think that makes it very close to a fold, although obviously you think it is already, hence this thread. I have added nothing. Oh well, I look forward to longy+MC+tank's responses (and any other tourney pros I have omitted)

Yeah we are just about shallow enough to shove this, though this is near the bottom of my range. Would probably fold 55 for example.

Pot is 2625 (which is a bb of around 1750), so we are shoving around 11bbs. From this spot my range is something like 66+,a10+,a9s+.

Pretty much hate standard raising in this spot with 77, due to disgusting spr on the flop with a hand that is awkward to play if we are flatted. Not sure how often we would get flatted in these kind of donkaments but it happens to me often enough to not want to do it.

its a go from me.

Pretty much what longy said. 55's would be a fold and 66's the bottom of my go range with this stack in this position.... in most dynamics. Range looks good too, personally I got KQo, QJs, KJs in there too.

I would fold personally but Im a nit - Im sure there is deffo a just case for open shoving

I really dont think you can raise/call vs unknowns, you'd need some info on the villains - if you use a HUD this spot would poss be slightly easier

I'm Sure you would show a profit by just shoving here, But I deffo prefer to fold.

Nice level with "tourney pro's"

FWIW I think my range is a bit tighter than Longy's but think shoving 77 is ok.

Easy shove for me with 19bbs. Close with 66s but still shove unless there's a bunch of regs. after me capable of calling correctly. Fold 55s prolly. r/f is not an option for me with this stacksize.

Obv it will depend entirely on who's on our table, but given the general standard of these donkaments i assume we're raise/calling QQ+

Obv this is horrible from a GT angle, but then it really doesn't matter.

Also am I wrong here in saying we should be shoving wider on a table of REGS than RANDOMS?

Also Longy, what do you do with 77 here if you have 21,500? chips

cheers peeps. i always find these kinda spots close. So wat if we have 22k with 99 1010 type hands for example. Theres lots of other examples with sim stack sizes and diff hands. With around 20 ish bigs in ep in lower buyin comps u can oftern open with a hand like 99 and get 1 or 2 fish flat call and u hate most flops playing oop and c bet folding is horrible. its seems sooo shit but i often find myself open blastin aipf with a range of hands like 77-JJ ak aq type hands with 18-22 bigs esp with antes and the fact that the blinds are on you next.

Shoving range would be roughly the same imo. With 6 ppl to shove through, changing ranges about doesn't really affect the maths too much especially as putting 6 individual players on ranges leads to a pretty big margin of error.

Probs fold, it is shove or fold spot for me and with an extra bb or so shoving probably become slightly -ev.
