You wre lucky no two ways about it. But who isn't? (Except maybe DC this year!) I'd be stupid to say you weren't. That doesn't mean that you don't deserve it or that you aren't talented enough. I've seen enough of your play (and read enough of your play) since to know you can do it again.

RECAP of final table!

1) Chip leader all day

2) Knocked out most of final table ( 5 of other 8 players)

3) Changed gears, played well except for 1 hand against John Gale ( DC cant believe he made the call on the turn w/ pair of   , bad kicker)

4) John was all in early in the day at the final table twice after the flop w/ a flush draw, hit both times!

5) The hand I rivered the straight on I got my chips in while I was ahead.

6) The  vs    would have busted John no matter what, I flopped the set on a  high board, he would have payed me off.

I am going to send John an email so we can get his input! I consider his year as remarkable, WPT win, 2nd in WSOP, 2nd in big event at Bellagio last month
