Got to say i think US are massive price and that they will win. US have the longest hitting team in history and it will make a difference at Celtic Manor. Westwood is fit and i think will play all 5 matches, maybe with Kaymer. Harrington is playing shit and cant see him playing foresomes. The Molinari brothers will be a formidable partnership and think one of them could be good for top points scorer, although Monte may not put them out first round as both are rookies. Montes world could also come crashing down this week if the story is released in newspapers that is being held back.
Anyway, thats my opinions.

Practice pairings

Poulter's w/ Harrington, Fisher & Donald. Westwood out w/ Kaymer, Jiminez and Hanson.

Monty puts McDowell with McIlroy & Molinaris bros together

Mickelson/D.Johnson taking on Bubba/Fowler in a match within the group. Also Tiger/Stricker vs. Zach/Hunter.

I think it might be Harrington/Donald and Poulter/Fisher in today's practice.

All those pairings look really strong to me, if they do the same pod system as last time then each 4 ball will not be split up throughout, pairings within each pod can change. I can see Mickelson/Fowler happening, like when he played with Kim last time

Why is this taking place in October?

The chances of shitty weather are so great.

August or September would be far better.

It has to be after all of the majors so that the Orders of Merit are complete.

And the Fedex Cup series may have delayed it a little.

So is nobody doing a sweep or anything for this? Someone mentioned it in the other golf thread.
