Does anyone have any experiences of putting egg into a curry? Don't want it to be the major component. Will use chicken too. I see two options:
1) Hard boil the egg and then chop it up and add it in
or, potentially much easier, but will this work?
2) Crack the egg open directly into the nearly finished curry and let it cook in the curry.
Will option 2 work? Or will I just end up with a gooey mess?

I have seen boiled eggs in a curry before didnt like it too much
much prefer craking the egg into the curry because it makes the curry alot richer

Yeah, don't really like the idea of using a boiled egg. My plan was to crack the egg in and then mix everything up a lot until the egg had cooked. This will work you reckon?

Yeah, don't really like the idea of using a boiled egg. My plan was to crack the egg in and then mix everything up a lot until the egg had cooked. This will work you reckon?

try it, don't think it will make a huge different probs thicker and richer thats all put lots of corriander on it also |

I can't imagine an egg adding anything to a curry tbh, especially if it's just cooked in to the sauce. save the egg and boil it up to have with soldiers for brekkie imo.

Boiled eggs in a curry are great. You can make them as the main component to. Cut in half they take the flavour on brilliantly. Generally you want them in something with more zingy flavours like a south indian prawn and egg curry, friggin delicious.
