Kinda depends on the opener's range

If you have him on like 88+, AQ+ then I guess fold.

If you think he raises lighter than that then ship it.

with no other info on the players i would fold. The risk to reward ratio isn't good for you in my opinion. If you shove and get called you will prob be in bad shape.

Disagree with this. We're shoving for about 3-4 times what is in the pot which is about perfect here.

If I'd just sat down I'd ship, gotta assume the average person is raising wider than the range I said...

Sorry George. You're right though. I probably do need to raise my aggression levels as well as improve my poker ability. Thats why i occasionally have a little go at these PHA puzzles.
In this particular case, i came to the conclusion that the two best options were either shove or fold. I wasn't too keen on the raise option because i felt that with hero's stack size raising and folding wasn't a good option and by shoving there would be a better chance of taking the hand down pre-flop.
I went for the fold option for the following reasons:-
UTG+1, who appears to be a tight player has shown strength by raising. He may, or may not have a good hand that he's prepared to go with. The Cut-off, who is apparently playing tight and hoping to fold into the money, has also shown strength by calling the initial raise. He may have a hand that he will lay down to hero's shove, but, there is a possibility that he's flat called with aces or kings to induce a re-raise. The blinds are still to act, so there is a chance that one of them could wake up with a better hand to shove with.
Anyway, i enjoy learning the errors of my ways when you all put me right so keep them coming folks. Smiley

I would jam, though Giblin is kind of tight so it is probably close.

I think a jam is fine but its closer than people are suggesting. The tez guy flatting tips it to a jam I think.

i probably shove but I dont think it is a snap shove

FWIW - flatting isnt totally horrible here to set mine vs 2 villains, you have implied odds of 10:1 against 2 stacks. I think its a losing play in the long run in this spot, but for nittier players its not horrible and is certainly better than folding. (although def depends on who is to act behind.)

the second problem with flatting is self levelling when in comes 2 3 7 rainbow, but we at least have position.

I dont see how folding can ever be an option here?!

I agree with Guy, although shoving is prob the best move, surely flatting in position getting a good price with both stacks covering, plus all the dead blinds and antes is fine!?

With regards to the 2 3 7 flop, just see if Giblin does 'the tell'.

edit: also, Ronaldo is making any 2 up from BB and only shipping hands u have 2 outs against so even more valueeeeeeeee.
