Thanks to Tighty and Pleno for the fantastic updates, and thank you ALL for your support, wasn't meant to be, but I did have a most enjoyable day and my table was more than interesting if for no other reason than the banter.

Watching these more prolific players than myself I realise that I will never be any more than a 'social player' who needs big hands to play, I really dont have the balls to make the plays they make!!

Was good to meet up with blondes old and new and i wish Tom and Vinny all the best for today (dont tell Tom but he is one of my heroes from my early days on Ladbrokes so was really good to get a chance to chat with him today).

Lastly I have to say a big THANK YOU to Eck,your act of kindness will remain with me forever, THANK YOU Sir.

(going to take down the £25 Deepstack this afternoon, but dont tell anyone  Wink )

Glad you had a good time Graham - now get that £25 jobbie won thumbs up

Hello and welcome back to DTD. We're just inside the club, as our plans for a bracing walk in the Peak district this morning were rather spoilt by the heavy rain that continues to lash down outside. So, hiking boots put back into mothballs, we're setting up for what should be an intriguing second day of the DTD October Deepstack

Play begins at 2.45pm

Here are the overnight chip counts again, with a pen profile or two to help you along

The overnights

Sean Randall   13   5   131300

Well, the is a good start. Crept under my radar yesterday and not on any Poker databases

Gregory Garrett   14   7   131200

Last month's winner. From the Lake District. A psychologist by profession.

Dwayne Quinn   12   8   126100

Not even the best player in his family. A member of the Swindon massive.

Justin Devonport   14   6   125900

Mancunian aggressive player

Thomas Mccready   12   4   109200

Poker comes second in his list of priorities at DTD behind food. First day two he has made for ages. Convinced to come yesterday in a mid afternoon phone call with your correspondent. Spots value, whether in cars, horses or overlays, like I spot Chocolate Eclairs. From a way away, and speeds to it quickly.

Simon Mitchell   12   1   96600

Friends with Jake Cody and Matt Perrins. Railed them in big events, and now its his turn? Online wins of $85,000. Professional ski instructor. Useful that, in Nottingham

David Levi   14   1   89900

Eccentric looking veteran. Never without a beanie hat, cap or other accoutrements of someone half his age

Cuong Tran   12   2   82000

Local player, in a lot of pots. A lot.

Anon   14   9   74600

Very tall, but Anon

Jamil Ogunmakinwa   13   7   72500

Easier to copy and paste his name than pronounce it

Alan Mcbride   13   1   72000

Lucky is the nickname. GUKPT Main event finalist, finalist in this last month. Infinite patience, infinite luck and infinite good nature.

Daniel Wong   14   5   66000

Looks like a Samoan Sumo wrestler crossed with Umaga from WWE. Chip leader early yesterday, quieter since.

Adrian Pound   13   4   64000

Another Swindon fella, much tighter than most of them though

Gareth Walker   14   3   59700

Newcastle's remaining representative. Known as Papa Walker, captain of the Sensations...who? a group of poker players including Harvey, McKenzie. Regular game is £1-2 at Aspers Newcastle

Christopher Brion   14   2   58100

Frenchamn now based down South. Occasional Luton player. Ran hotter than Icarus near the sun yesterday

Dharmesh Patel   14   4   57300

Unknown to me

Darren Rice   12   3   55900

Unknown to me

William Folwell   12   7   49600

Young aggressive, reckoned by people here to be a talent. Emo look, Jake Cody lite.

Mark Yaffe   13   3   46500

Unknown to me

Hassan Irfan   13   2   46300

Londoner, a regular in the TV crapshoot formats and at the Vic

Nicholas Crisp   12   5   45700

The loosest rock in the world. Luton player. Quiet, unassuming with an image that will take a generation to shift

Vince Calenti   12   6   30700

Blew it yesterday. Only had four meals

Ian Berrie   13   8   29200

Unknown to me

Giovanni Vaccarella   13   9   22300

Luton cash game player, but a very consistent tournament record around the UK too
