It looks like a severe case of post-Vegas degen. syndrome to me.

excuse me?

Not the size of game that I would usually play but I'm folding this pre. in my sleep.

"Post-Vegas degen. syndrome" is a condition that seems to be an affliction common amongst people who after visiting Las Vegas tend to play a bit tilted for whatever reason for a short time on their return home.

It happens frequently. Obviously I invented the term.

idk, for me personally vs this player I'd bet the turn expecting him to call with worse often and only ever really raise with K9/KK, but yh I get you're point.
I just wouldn't normally expect him to raise here, very odd.

it loooooks like his range consists of k9/kk but if thats the case you should just float raise all the time if people are folding hands which are very close to the top of the range by the turn.

Have been playing abit of plo for the last month on the side and im either playing really well out the box or super spewy, perhaps the line isnt too thick.

back to the hand, im just sigh folding but i think calling the turn and folding the river isnt too bad a line as he is probably bluffing the river less than 5% when u call teh turn.

Yh, good point, but its really not a spot where you get exploited all that often, you're hand is OVER-repped if anything by the turn, so we could assume for almost definate that the villian is polarized to one of the nut houses or a bluff/semi bluff, i.e he's never EVER raising 6's full for value, i spose peole might turn weak 9's into Merge's from time to time but I certainly dont think so with this villian.

I actually think calling turn and folding river leaves you more open to exploitation because he now gets a lot more value from his bluff the small % of the time he is bluffing.

and yeah, the line is pretty thin spewwwwwwwwwwweeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ftw

Thanks Dave for the info on Baronie! Wish I knew at the time....

anyway I think I levelled myself, probably in part due to a similar hand earlier where I flatted and let a guy hit a random gs+fd and shoved. Baronie had a king with another king and won my monies.

Thanks for the comments Suuper and Patonius etc.

Not really helpful to the people who don't play Omaha/have no experience of these games telling me to fold pre. It's an open almost every time.

You played it absolutely fine pre an flop but checking turn an calling river is the right play long term in this spot in my opinion though!
