im 6th out of 9 not been super loose but picking my spots.

got little experience in bigger stakes final tables, this is the reason im asking.

only been at the table for an orbit or so, so not much reads.

blinds are 5k 10k with 1k antes

well it gets folded to me on the button playing 150k
sb - jsbryan has 210k
bb - rebellz has 108k

I have a2

its either shove or fold right

the hand got me thinking whilst i was trying to get to sleep but what would u do?

Is it shove or fold though?  If you have no intention of folding just open shove.  Is opening for 23k then folding to a reraise terribly bad?

Raise folding is terrible, its a sixth of your stack.

Assuming the antes are 1k its a clear shove.

$24k in the pot so shoving looks fine to me. I presume you are past the bubble which will influence how people might play. You need to consider the impact on players. Are they looking to win or move up the pay scale.

this comp plays pretty shallow at final iirc. I only asked for other stacks and villains because often ur have a ladder op vs a 4bb stack or sumink. Probably shoving, JSbryan is decent and will correct, dont know other guy. But yeh raise fold is just beyond terrible.

24k in the pot, we have 150k. Blinds are effective 8/16k, we have less than 10bbs. We also have an ace on the button, this is always a push the blinds are pretty irrelevant, no matter how wide or loose they call it is always going to be a good shove.

Paul you really should know this as a 90man grinder.

not too sure if i should play a 50$ tourney the same way i play a 3$ tourney.

i would 100% shove this in a 3$

maybe i should have a 100% mind set on winning regardless of what tourney i play in. And having a eye on the money doesnt help as winning 2k+ is still pretty significant for me  Smiley
