i mean if your playing these stakes regurlaly then its a shove.
If your taking a shot and there are a few very short stacks then a fold is ok.
if the blinds are total nits then minraise fold isnt entirely awful. Im always shoving here

Just a general question on themes discussed in this thread.  How big does our stack need to be for raise/folding not to be terrible.  So at what stack size can we open raise and fold to a 3 bet?

Say 400k, put dont forget that SB and BB need similar stacks?

In this instance raise folding to the bb who has 10.8bb is bad IMO. (considering our stack).
But in general i dont think rules should be set, (i.e i wont raise fold to a 10bb stack, or i must shove that hand with 15bb etc). A ton of things affect shoving ranges, raise folding ranges and raise calling ranges.  Like, raise calling a 20bb shove with A8o would of been unheard of not so long ago, but is a pretty standard snap in a ton of spots now (usually with reads and / or history). As trigg said above sometimes raise folding to nits who are shoving 10bb CAN BE ok but having notes is so VITAL when ur regging mtt's online. The notes should not only contain ur read on opponent, but also what there likely read is on you, i.e if u spazzed to them in the past then use that to ur advantage.

Please don't let Girgy put you off.

I really don't care about your personal life if your responses are good which this one clearly is.

Fwiw I'd rather read PHA posts from a grimmer who knows what they're doing than from a bloke who finds it amusing to post pictures of his own shit.

Railtards posts have much more merit in this thread than Girgy's imo.

I had a bad past with Marc, but can't dispute his poker. Very good player and be a shame if he's put off posting. Also think he is a nice guy deep down, second chance imo Smiley
