how do you put videos onto ipod touch ?

i am having problems putting movies onto ipod... i try import a video / film as i am doing a song, and its meant to turn up in the vids section, but it doesnt..

im trying to put onto ipod touch, so shud allow... but isnt.. help pls.

Have they been converted to Mp4's?

May be simple, but have you ticked the checkbox in itunes which syncs video to the ipod. Usually unchecked by default.

had to convert them by googling an itunes video convertor. thanks for help
