Sorry Tom but you can't have any credit for that one.

I clearly did all the hard work for you. It was no more than a tap in.

Fair enough. I've used that line twice in two days anyway.

in real life I've got more money than sense and find this amount of money largely irrelevant.

Simon

How many levels will be played on day 1 and what do you expect the finish time to be given breaks?

Also what will the blinds be at after 8pm?

I'm just trying to work out if I can play the first 6 hours and then go to our work's Christmas p**s up without giving up too high a % of my stack.

Thanks in advance.
Does anyone ever make sensible posts anymore or is is the low rollers mentality to be funny! X

Thanks for your help Pete.

It wasn't supposed to be funny. It's actually a serious question.

I'd like to play this event but I have a clash problem that I need some advice on to see what the practicalities are.

For a once a year work event I would happily leave a 1k comp for a few hours to spend time with colleagues having fun.

If it means losing all of my chips then obviously I won't do it because that would be stupid.

If it means losing 5k out of a 30k starting stack then I really don't mind because despite the fact that I'm a a poker low roller, in real life I've got more money than sense and find this amount of money largely irrelevant.

Might see you there. xx

If I wasn't to get to the club until say 4pm on the friday, how many chips do you think would have been lost by then out of 30k?  Any ideas anyone?
