Is it possible they've just asked him to sign this so they'll defo get a fee for him in the summer and it gets the press and fans off their backs for the rest of the season? It's quite a u-turn after some of the things that have been said.

Good point...this way they can still get £50mill for him..but surely Rooney would never do this? It would make him even more of a hate figure if he leaves now.

Amazing U-turn and I wonder what concessions/assurances SAF and Gill have given him, will ManU spend big this summer?

I think they're gonna hate him anyway.
