I haven't found any good apps that take my eye, very annoying really.

I have 4 iPads (don't ask) and I am not finding I like these very much, so I am putting two of them up for sale, both are used, message if you are interested.
Really?  What sort of thing are you into?  There's tonnes of decent apps.

I am just not a game person and the sky apps, I don't understand why they will let me use them properly without getting messages about subscriptions? I only want to read the footie news.

They are missing so much and all my laptops can do all of what an iPad can't. Only time I use iPad is when pokering.

Because the new sky app is designed for subscribers.

There's a cool app called flipboard, it let's you stick all your news in one app including Facebook and twitter.  There are tonnes of magazine and news type things that you can add to it, then when you open flipboard, they're all in one place, it's quite tidy.  Maybe that'd be of interest to you ?

flash player? it doesn't work on iPad either man. So you miss out on other features and watch anything from net as not compatible? Also, all the decent apps are ££? Sad

Skyfire for flash. Yeah sure they cost but most are less than a quid so hardly expensive.

Looking at getting a new ipad, does it make much difference between getting the 16/32 or 64gb?

Hmm I got a few films and several thousand photos on mine and dont use 32g. 32g will be fine for most people unless they put a fair few firms on.
