Jamie Kay is down to fumes

He raises UTG, Ali Mallu (newly moved to his table after a table break) flat calls and Ian Plater re-raises on the button

Back to Kay he shoves with A-K. Mallu passes A-Q and Plater calls after a good think with J-J

250,000 pot

Kay turns his back to the table as the crucial race is played out

Sadly for him it comes

10-5-2-7-5 and Plater is the chip leader

For the rest of the table, Ali and Matthew Eiler-Gadsen have moved onto the table, meaning fireworks are inevitable

Tom McCready suffers a flesh wound to Wenrui Chen

In the small blind, Tom limps and Wenrui makes it 5000 more in the big blind

Tom calls

Flop 5-2-10, two hearts

Tom check calls 8,000

turn 5, Tom check folds to 20,500 bet on the turn

Joined table 15 to find a 3-way all in...

Kevin Kirby had shoved short for 15k, Jamie Kay had called all in for shrapnel and Richard Horton called to put both at risk.

Kirby:

Kay:

Horton:

The board ran out to dash Kirby's hopes of a chop and eliminate him, with Kay and Horton chopping the main pot.

Over on table 14, Richard Blacklock found himself all in for 17k on a flop of Two Clubs . As the previous table 15 hand was being played out at the same time, nearly everybody missed the clock being called, with Blacklock actually believing that his opponent, Wenrui Chen, had actually called.

Something Blacklock had said must have given Chen some information though, because he called 3 seconds into the 60 second clock, turning over which was miles behind Richard's . No queens on the turn and river saw Blacklock go back over 50k.
