Tomorrow night 11th November at the Leicester Square Odeon is the Premiere of The Deathly Hallows Part 1
For those camping out tonight, a few words of advice
1. Get there the night before or by 6am at the latest on the day of the premiere
Hard core fans will camp out in the square, if you do this there’s no problems with security because believe me there will be lots of other fans doing the same thing and Leicester Square is well policed when they know a big film premiere is on.
2. If you’re camping get some extra Metro newspapers to put under your sleeping bag
Camping out on concrete isn’t like being in some field, having a load of newspapers under your sleeping bag will make a difference.
3. Do take a sleeping bag
Even though you won’t get much sleep it’s warmer being in a sleeping bag than anything else and bring a fold up camping seat for the night. It won’t be any use during the day but good for the night.
4. Clothes wise it’s layers, layers, layers
The weather forecast for Wednesday night isn’t looking great, having layers will keep you much warmer.
5. Make a cardboard sign
If you make a big cardboard sign saying something like – I’ve been here since last night, or I’m the biggest Harry Potter fan, you could get interviewed by TV crews or foreign press as they’re always looking out for people to talk to. Also you stand more chance of the stars seeing you and maybe coming over.
6. Don’t forget the camera and double check the pen works
Your mobile’s good but a camera picture is way better
7. Have something waterproof to keep the autograph book or poster in
Bring an extra plastic bag to put your autograph book and poster in so that you can get a good signature and also so it doesn’t get smudged afterwards if it’s raining
Follow these tips and you should have no problems in seeing the stars and have a reasonably comfortable wait. Also take a look at our London Premiere Guide for other tips and advice.
The London film premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I is in Leicester Square at the Odeon Leicester Square on Thursday 11th. The main stars are unlikely to be there before 6pm.

9. Wear your blonde poker patch durrrrrr
People won't be doing this really will they? Will they? I find the idea of anyone aged over 7 wanting to do this kind of thing quite depressing indeed. Even if it was a film for grown ups I'd still find it depressing. I mean I think I'd camp out at Subway if they were introducing some sort of Mexican chicken salsa taco, cause of course you'd have to be loco not to want to be one of the first to taste one of those babies, AND you wouldn't have to bring your own sammiches, but this kind of thing has me scratching my head like a wee one with head lice.

I can't wait for these last 2 films.
I get a lot of criticism for my Harry Potter fanaticism but i always argue that i was only 10 when the first book came out (which i read and loved immediately) and that usually shuts the critiques up.
Its gona be increddddddd!
