My process for this is nothing short of excellent.

Answers are entered as they are received and formatted in a way that makes putting them into the thread quick and painless.

A separate system then exists for scoring. Scores for each question are entered and then automatically totaled and sorted, ready for easy pasting into the forum.

NOT accepting answers on the day is the real farce and sign of a poorly organised QM imo.
