Just wanted a few thoughts on this hand that occurred at DTD in the £50 1 dayer.

Final table bubble so we're 5 handed and I'm in the BB

Me 420k
SB 309k

Blinds 8000/16000 + 1500. Average is 300k so it's a crapshoot

Money's pretty shitty until top 3.

Folds to SB who makes it 44k

I've got

My options as I see them:

1 - Shove
2 - Raise to 110k and snap a shove
3 - Raise to 110k and fold to shove
4 - Call and do something funky with position
5 - Fold and go home.

I've not been at the table long but have a little bit of history with oppo.

A short while ago he made the same raise from the button and I 3 bet to 110k from the BB to which he folded. At the time we were 7 handed and he had more chips than me which made it a bit different. I've seen him play before and know that he's a decent aggro player. Knows what he's doing.

I've made a few more moves around the bubble but only shown down decent hands which have bumped my stack up from 280k to 420k since I've been here.

Thoughts?

is he pretty active raising?

also how has he acted to 3bets? or been 3betted much?

I would
jam it in his eye
or
raise call
i think were ahead of his range most of the time

dont mind stop and going him either

basicly anything but fold

3b fold was only an option because of the previous hand we'd played where I 3 bet and he folded.

Is he going to be raising me light knowing that I'm capable of a 3 bet at this stage?

I didn't even consider this at the time by the way. I pretty much insta shoved.

It was only afterwards that I thought there may be a preferrable line to take.

Obviously being results oriented because I lost but just wanted to check to make myself feel better.

I just think that maybe preserving a 300k stack going in to the final of a comp where nobody knows anything about calling ranges could've been an option.
