There's a free one called navfree which works pretty well.  Not sure how the TomTom app works for people, should be ok for £50

i'm gonna hijack this thread coz I need some sat nav help please too.  I've got a sony satnav - had it a few years with no problem, and last used it a couple of weeks ago.  A day or two later I switched it on and it powered up, but won't progress beyond the screen that comes up when it switches on.  any ideas?

I had an old sat nav which used to go wonky once in a while and freeze,it had a small hole in which you stuck a pin, this would reset it to factory settings.

I would lose anything stored in it however it would work again for a while, maybe yours has a similar thing.

An uncooperative drunken blind wood pigeon with amnesia could get you to Blackpool.
