I have dabbled on a couple of horses on today's fabulous card.

In the re-routed Fighting Fifth Hurdle I've taken a chance on Starluck @ 6/1 in what I think could turn out to be a three furlong sprint on the run-in.

I've also bet on Diamond Harry @ 9/1 in The Hennessy although Tom Segal has knackered the price somewhat by selecting it too, he's not a bad judge that lad mind you.

Looking forward to a great card of top-class NH racing and hopefully a profit.

Absurd aftertime but i had the winner in the first @ 14/1, Act of Kalinisi  Smiley

Backed Starluck to place here @ 2.6. Should appreciate conditions, been aimed at the race and will like the flat run in. Drifting like the proverbial barge though!

Couldn't back it to win as its a mug when it gets to the front, be it a furlong out or a yard from the line.

Starluck is such a dodgepot, should have simply laid Binocular as was my original plan Sad

yay, read the race pretty well except Starluck i don't think ever reached the front anyway.

Don't fancy anything in the next, would back Stoneys Treasure @ 4/1 but not 9/4.

Also like The Betchworth Kid in the 2pm, managed to 6/1 very early this morning so happy to see the price now.

Duke of Lucca to place in the 2.30 depending on the price.

Really not sure about The Hennessy, would love to see Denman win obviously, but when i did the Oddschecker I-Phone app "shake n back lucky pin" feature it gave me Burton Port so make of that what you will.

Never had a bet. Thought binoculars run was no more than a racecourse gallop. Diamond Harry looks a good un.
