right i got an iphone have donw for the last year all good happy with service etc o2 £45 month
1200min 50 texts  unlimited internet

heres where i need help or advice
just bought a 16gb 3gs iphone for my son cheap £180
its open on o2 as my mate sold it to me as he just had a free upgrade
now my boy has a contract with orange for £15 per month he only gets about 300 min month but he never goes over

whats my best option i want him to have the iphone around 300 min about 300-400 texts and unlimited internet

heres the question
can i get the iphone unlocked so his sim card works in it?   his sim is orange
will his plan let him go on the internet?
or will i be able to do some sort of upgrade so he can get on the internet ect,..,.,thnx for any help
the phone is like brand new fair play my mate never used it...

if your lazy take it to the market cost £30ish you can download the jailbreake from online but its quite long http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOtck1MM6mE&feature=channel_page

but once you have jailbreak it you cant update your iphone

for the internet oranger can add on the internet as a bolt on £5-£10 a month

Thank you I was being too gentle with it, the key needs ramming in slightly.

One trip to the O2 shop in town later and properly downloading the i-tunes update(I thought just the exe was enough--don't ask) and I'm almost fully operational.

I'm just synching my i-pod playlist as we speak, well I hope I am.

Please excuse the thread hijack Sofa, too lazy to start a new one.
