Free bet offers

Most bookies offer free bets for new customers. Has anyone ever claimed these twice?
I signed up with most bookies ages ago. I've since moved house and changed bank accounts. A mate says I should be signing up to them all again as a new customer with new details to claim the free bets and that it's pretty standard.

Is this poor form or standard shrewdness?

if you get caught they will bar you so depends how much you want to have an account with someone.

I think I have done it 3/4 times with some bookies, new card and new address seemed to work. They pretty much stop you at the sign up process if they are going to catch you.
