Toby Lewis said at the break he was having a tough time being on the left of Jack Ellwood, and so far Ellwood is getting the better of it
Lewis raises on the button and Ellwood flats in the small blind
flop
check, Lewis 15,000, called
turn
check check
river
Ellwood leads for 30,000. Lewis calls after a think
and mucks when Ellwood shows

the table break has meanwhile not been too kind to Alan Gray with under 200,000
He was moved to the button on Deadman and Gordon's blinds
Deadman and Gordon have 1,200,000 chips combined and both defend with impunity
Deadman, I hope, is going really deep in this. Time after time I watch him amass huge stacks only to blow up on the final few tables

Amazing how Jamie Moult always comes up trumps in the big DTD comps.
Typical bookie. Weather kills his business action, deprives him of a days slot takings (£25k-ish) in his Shop, so he goes to DTD & makes up the defecit.
Could not happen to a more genuine bloke though. If he binks this, the Dealers can expect a tidy tip, too.

Amy Trodd raises and Christopher Goodson shoves in the blinds. Amy calls with KK. Christopher A10
Kings hold and we lose Goodson 24th

Yep, can confirm that button seat to their big blinds wasn't fun, especially when they were hitting sets against my top pairs.
Would love to see Simon do well. Good player and top lad. Good luck to the blondes still in (won't mention any names for fear of bokking).
