Barney impressed me alot.

Came from a set down and played great in sets 3 and 4. Hit nearly 20 140s and even more importantly did not shake his head once, which he's been doing all year when misses even one double.

Think he could go very close this time.

i have mcdine to beat him in the second round on wed.   @7.7     and couple of quid @700 on betfair to win tourney and small on witlock

Did you see McDine in the 1st round? It was one of the worst matches I've ever seen, hitting the fat 5 when going for tops and all this sort of thing.

I don't look at betting exchanges, but if you can get anything like a good price on barney then lump on now. Best he has thrown for years

3/3 today so been decent so far.  Found 1 bet I like in the Taylor game, Wright most 180's @ 6/1.

Speculative of course, but Taylor has hit only 1 in each game, Wright only slightly better but 6/1 should be more like 4/1.

13/8 to win a set for Wrght is tempting, but left it so far.

Wright was 3-1 up at one point, Taylor 6-3 in the end.

3 bets today:

Thornton more 180's @ 4/1 v Lewis
Smith +2.5 sets @ 7/4 (beaten Anderson 5/5, can see GA winning 4-2/4-3 tho)
Walsh more 180's @ 6/4 v Jenkings (11 v 6 in the last rd, tho Walsh played 2 more sets)

Not a bad match this. More Dutch bottling than a Rotterdam dairy.
