Do people still use Kilner jars? Haven't seen one of those for years.
They remind me of Grolsch bottles. Can you still buy Grolsch? Some questions arising from one simple fact. Amazing.
I'm off to find out something new.

Ok, here is today's thing I didn't know.
John Sullivan, who wrote Only fools and Horses, the greatest comedy show ever IMO, & Citizen Smith, named an episode of Citizen Smith, Only Fools & Horses. Incredible.

Cheers Jack. 100 pages, made up mainly of nonsense. I still quite enjoy it though.

Spewed another big stack off at Luton tonight. One day I will learn, Hope it's soon!
Will have to trawl back through my Feb figures to update profit/loss etc.
Also, bought in for the English Deepstack tonight (thanks Dave Johnson, GUKPT Winner) for stumping up the money for me til Thursday, so I don't have to run the risk of it selling out, as I can't play on the Friday. I don't care what they say about him behind his back, I think he is OK. Cheers Dave

Haven't learned anything new today yet, but I'm sure I will.
Had a plan A for later which didn't involve poker, but that's gone out the window, so now my plan B is to go to the £50er at Luton tonight. All depends on whether I fall asleep between now and 7pm, also, I haven't bought any shoes yet, so will have to borrow a pair there, if they are decent enough I may even keep them
million you had a plan A.
Fact of the day: The name Wendy was made up for the book Peter Pan
That's a great fact Cos. Thank you.
Shame it's not true though.
He did popularise it but there have been Wendy's listed in the 1881 UK census (Peter Pan was written in 1904)
think about it, for centuries there have been people called Gwendolin, (15th century at least)..how likely is it that someone invented the name 4 centuries later?

edit; ah, didn't see that gatso was already on the case

remember badgering my dad to buy a couple of bottles of Grolsch (even though he didn't drink lager) as I desperately needed the tops to put on my shoes

He names Citizen Smith's episode first though.
the best fact you've ever come up with though (mainly because all others are bollocks
