Once you are playing...a loyalty scheme...
Earning Poker Points
All new registrations will receive 500 Poker Points. Use these points to enter our regular freerolls.
Sky Poker values all of our poker players and therefore we have introduced a player reward scheme. The scheme works by rewarding every player with 'Poker Points' based on their real money gameplay. These points are rewarded every time a player plays in a Real Money Game as well as Sit 'n Go's and Multi Table Tournaments.
To get you off to a good start Sky Poker will automatically award 500 Poker Points to each new customer. Using your Poker Points will add to your fun as you will be able to use them to buy entry into selected tournaments rather than paying cash!
How to Earn Poker Points
Every time you participate in a Real Money Game you will earn valuable Sky Poker Points. This will be based on the stakes of the table below.
Game Type Points Raked Hands
£1.50 / £3.00 and Above 30 20
£1.00 /£2.00 24 20
£0.50 /£1.00 18 20
£0.20 / £0.40 - £0.40 / £0.80 9 20
£0.10/ £0.20 - £0.15 / £0.30 5 20
£0.02 / £0.04 - £0.05 / £0.10 2 20
A raked hand is defined as any hand in which you are dealt hole cards and a minimum of 1 pence in rake is taken.
You will also earn Bonus Poker Points for buying in to any Multi and Single Table Tournament. You will earn 10 Poker Points for every £1 in entrance fees paid, for example, if you enter a £10 + £1 tournament, the £10 is your contribution to the prize fund and the additional £1 is the "fee" that you pay. This means in this example that you will earn 10 Bonus Poker Points. All loyalty points earned will be credited to your account at the end of each hand or tournament and can be viewed by going to 'My Account'.

The Cash Series: 'Master Cash: Cash 300' and 'The Big Game'
If you like your cash games and you also fancy being a star on Sky Poker TV, then look no further than our series of Cash shows.
Every Saturday night we will feature 'Master Cash' on Sky Poker TV, with the show's main focus being on either 'The Big Game' or 'Cash 300'.
These are shows that will include analysis from resident Sky Poker experts that could improve your skills, and also feature live action from the cardroom floor. They range from the low stakes to mid stakes and all the way up to the high rollers!
What are these shows about?
MASTER CASH
It does exactly what it says on the tin! Master Cash is the TV show that allows you to Master your Cash Game skills! The Sky Poker show started in November 2009 and has been a huge hit amongst Poker players ever since. Using our resident experts the show focuses on advising you how to improve your cash game skills. A well known figure to Sky Poker players, Tony ‘Tikay’ Kendall is one of the hosts and he is there to answer your questions and queries regarding all things cash related. As well as Tikay, other hosts of the show include Richard Orford, Trevor Harris, James Hartigan and Ed Giddins. Not only do they give you advice but they even guide you through the live cash games being played at the time of the show! If you are looking to improve your Cash Game skills and, ultimately, your bank balance, Master Cash is the show for you!! Don’t miss out and tune into channel 865 at 8pm on a Saturday!
'THE BIG GAME'
The biggest game on Sky Poker! In 'The Big Game' the high rollers go head-to-head in an epic cash game. The buy-in is £500 and the blinds are £2.50/£5! This is not the kind of game for the faint-hearted with the crème de la crème of the site pitting their wits and skill in an all out battle for supremacy! Who will rise to the top? Find out as we go live with 'Master Cash: The Big Game.'
'CASH 300'
In 'Cash 300' Sky Poker players pit themselves against one another on the £1.50/£3.00 Cash tables. The buy-in is, of course, £300 and the players have the opportunity to break from the crowd and make a real name for themselves on the baize. This is 'Master Cash: Cash 300' - where legends are made!
How do you get to appear on these shows?
Throughout the week, our poker lobby has a number of tables called 'Master Cash' 'Cash 300' and 'The Big Game'. With all limits covered, these are a perfect way for you to take your game and showcase it to the Sky Poker viewers. Lookout for the TV symbol next to the tables if you want your hands to be contenders for the show on Saturday nights.
What are you waiting for? Get to the tables!

the Poker League: Become a member of team Sky Poker
Tieing in with some exciting new developments at Sky Poker, we've reviewed the Poker League format. You can now qualify through the League to become a member of Team Sky Poker. Please note, players must opt in to the Poker League in order to earn poker league points and participate in this promotion:
1. The Top 30 Cash, MTT and STT players over a 3 month period have a chance to win their way onto Team Sky Poker.
2. The League will now run quartlerly. There are 3 places onto Team Sky Poker available every 3 months.
3. The first qualifying period will run from October 1st to December 31st, then every 3 months after. The qualifying players will play in three separate tournaments (of 30 players each Cash, MTT, STT) to determine the three positions.
4. These tournaments will be the 1st Sunday of the month after the qualifying period (i.e. the top 30 players in each poker league (Cash, MTT, STT) from October 1st to December 31st 2010 are invited to a private tournament on the second Sunday in January 2011- January 9th ).
5. These tournaments will be the 2nd Sunday of the month after the qualifying period (i.e. the top 30 players in each poker league (Cash, MTT, STT) from October 1st to December 31st 2010 are invited to a private tournament on the 2nd Sunday in January 2011- January 9th ).
6. The winner of each tournament will win a place on Team Sky Poker.
League Stars Freeroll
1. The League Stars Freeroll for the top 150 Cash, STT & MTT players will still run on the 2nd Sunday every month.
2. The top 10 players from the League Stars Freeroll will get a seat into the £8k Sky Sports Double Stack, shown live on Sky Sports every month.
3. However, the top 450 players will now be worked out concurrently. For example - The 1st quarter runs from the 1st October 31st December 2010:
* a) The top 450 players in October will be invited to the freeroll on the 2nd Sunday in November.
* b) The top 450 players across October and November combined will be invited to the freeroll on the 2nd Sunday in December.
* c) The top 450 players in October, November and December combined will be invited to the freeroll on the 2nd Sunday in January.
* d) Then a new quarter will begin in January - March and so on

Tourneys.
It has a full schedule of Tourneys from £2 up, a lot of Deepstacks etc, and 4 or 5 Freerolls every day, but as to the bigger stuff......
Monthly Sky Sports Double Stack.
£220, last Thursday of the month, capped at 50 runners, televised from start to finish. Won this week by AndrewT, who cashed for £3,000 I think, to add to a £2,400 cash he binked in the £50 PRIMO (£15,000 Guaranteed) a fortnight earlier, so he's cashed for the fat end of £6k this month. I believe he Satellited into the £220 for a tenner, too. I believe this Tourney may soon become weekly, or a £110 version capped at 100 runners.
Weekly Primo
£15,000 Guaranteed, every Sunday at 8pm, Televised, (tomorrow, it's Rich Orford & myself in the Studio) with plenty of easy Satellite opportunities. Pays about 40 players, with £4k-ish up top. We take phone calls live on air from those running deep in it.
Weekly Sky Sports Bounty Hunter.
£15k Guaranteed, every Thursday at 8pm, Televised, usually simulcast on one of the Sky Sports Channels, so a big audience. Note this is a "Bounty Hunter", so it plays oiut a little different to a normal NLHE jobbie.
Nightly Main Event
.
Always 8pm.
Monday & Tuesday are £20 I think (one "standard", one BH), Wednesday is a Double-Stack (4k chips), still £20, Saturday is a standard £20 NLHE. Friday is a £20 Rebuy, Thursday & Sunday, as above. They generally get 500 runners or so, give or take a few hundred depending on whether Football is on Telly, etc.
TSP Classic
Every weeknight at 10pm, £11, gets about 220 runners on average, pays about £600 to the winner. One of the TSP Members play each night. Lovely structure.
Take-on-tikay, aka "TOTTY"
These run on Monday (£2.20), Tuesday (£11), Wednesday (£5.50, & Friday (£5.50 Rebuy). They all start at 8.30pm & have 2,500 starting chips. Number of runners varies from £150 ish in the £2.20, to around 60 in the £11 version. I designed the structure, & it plays very nicely indeed. I try to play it whenever possible, though sometimes I cannot do so.
"tikay Sleepstack"
Every Wednesday at 7pm, £11, 5,000 chips & 15 minute Levels I think. This is, I think, the only "badged" 10 seater Tourney on Sky Poker, all the others are 6 seaters. The whole site is 6-max, with just a few exceptions.
V
iva Las Vegas.
Tiighty has detailed these, I think. Essentially, a £10,000 package, which includes flight tickets to Vegas for TWO people, & a suite at The Rio. And all our players get VERY well looked after out there, trust me......
There are, of course, thousands of other Tournies, but I hope that asnwers your question. If not, fire away.
The Tourney types are, mainly, standard NLHE, Bounty Hunters, Velocity (FAST), "Scary" (VERY fast), Deepstacks, plus the stuff I've mentioned.

tikay says:
If you mean is there a "regular" Download version, yes.
It was introduced about a month ago, & so far, the number of players who have downloaded it is well into 5 figures. It is not exactly 'Stars, and has a lot more development left in it (!), which will feed through during the early part of this year, but I believe it's perfectly fit for purpose, all things considered, & is very smooth compared to the Flash-based version. BOTH versions remain available, & a surprising number of players have expressed a wish to stay on the Flash Client, which is fine, as both will run permanently & in parallel.

either post or PM me your Sky username, especially if you are going to play a lot more because of the partnership with blonde
No tagging as such, you are a Sky customer already, and a blonde member. You belong to both of us (evil corporate chuckle)
However if Sky/blonde means your volume on Sky rises, Sky will be made aware by myself and tikay as it is all part of what will make the deal successful
