It may have been a Sunday thing - has been working pretty fine since Jan 1st but I am going to download. Not as upsetting as the time I was playing on FT and running deep and my fat cat sat on the battery connector and broke it and the power kept ebbing away, all in every hand but kept winning until my laptop died - probably the best poker I played
Possibly. I was not aware of any backend issues last night, the 375 runner Primo ran as smooth as silk from start to finish, & there was also a 1,000 runner Freeroll which behaved impeccably, too.
The site was extraordinarily busy last night, though, almost in record territory, the busiest Sunday I've ever seen for sure, so maybe as you say, just a "Sunday thing". If you have any more probs, I'll get a Techie to contact you direct. Apologies for any probs.

Can you also tell me if the Luton Satts are still running and if yes are they at set times each day? Have seen the final satt but fancy the challenge at starting at the lowest buy in.

Not sure if this is the right place for post. But playing that 8K BH tonight got down to 7 of us left. Obviously with 6 seater FTs. I am on the table with 3 and I notice we are not playing hand for hand? Surely this can't be right!?? My table is at a massive disadvantage. Obviously I call a blind on blind shove with aq and his jacks hold. gg.
I asked the rest of the players on both tables but nobody responded. Any help on this would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure, though not 100% certain, that tonight's (Mondays) Luton SPT Sats will be the last, at least until numbers have been tallied up. The Seats have gone like hotcakes, & the Event is pretty much sold out with 7 weeks still to go before the Event. Nice problem to have. Newcastle SPT was the same - all the Seats went in no time.
It's very much an on-message type of Event for Sky Poker, similar in many ways to APAT. To most of the players, £110 is far & away the most they have ever paid (or qualified) to play a poker Tourney, & I'm very proud to be part of it.
Even Keith Hawkins, who plays deep-pocket jobbies day & night, said he loved the atmo at Newcastle. Luton will be even better.

No, the Site has yet to introduce hand-for-hand I'm afraid. It's deffo a disadvantage to one Table, & an advantage to the other.
It's in the queue of things waiting to be introduced, as are so many things.
I hope you'll bear with us, & thanks for giving it a go.

No worries, Cheers for the clarification old boy. Obv I wouldn't have been bothered if i was on the other table. Not enough to put me off SP but look forward to it being in place.
Cya at the tables.

Thank you for being so understanding - I feared much worse, but gotta tell it as it is. We ain't 'Stars. Not yet, anyway.
It's THE most satisfying thng though, to be in at the birth of a "clean sheet of paper" stand-alone Room, & watch it slowly evolve & grow, & even be a very small part of that process. It's almost the most satisfying thing I've ever done. Time & again, we delayed the Download for strategic reasons, & the timing of the Release ended up was abs perfect in the end. Result.
It's kinda hard to bear the brickbats sometimes, but it is what it is. Luckily, it's like football supporters telling the Manager how to pick his team - I/we never lack advice as to what we are doing wrong!
I have this weird pipedream, to take, one at a time, players & show them how an intergrated platform modern Room works - it's a black art, it's really something to behold. I've been involved in some clever & complex businesses in my time, but this is just awesome to watch.
And the best way to field awkward questions - like yours, which I'be been waiting for - is just to fess up.
It's good for the character & backbone, too. I love every minute.

Nice post, Massive respect to your integrity as always Tikay. Didn't mean it to come across as an awkward question. Was more of a general wondering. Glad you had been waiting for it.

I have just left the RAF after 8 years service and don't plan on calling anyone Sir ever again. How does junior grab ya?
I really should learn how to use these quote buttons. I am just making myself look like an idiot.

Junior? I could get to like that.
RAF?
I'm reading a book about RR Aero-engines right now, (or a man that helped develop them) including the Pegasus, which went into the Harrier.
Back in the day, maybe 30 years ago, R-R would NEVER supply a Civil Aviation aero engine unless the Military had bedded it in first via whatever the RAF were then flying, so to speak. Times have changed since, the RB series ensured that.
You get anywhere near the flying stuff? If so, what, & how?

Nah, not at all tbh. Believe it or not i was in intelligence.. Languages were my game. I couldn't tell you the difference between a Tornado and a Typhoon. But get me on about a MiG-29 Fulcrum then we could have a convo. Bit weird I guess. I never needed to know about our own acft as I had nothing to do with them. Know thy enemy.
Settled. Junior it is then.

Ooh, do you want me to discuss the relative merits, & engines, of the Tornado & the Typhoon?
