Just starting playing poker again after a 4 year break. Downloaded and it crashes a lot in IE Win 8. Is this a common problem? is their a software client yet for sky?
Yeah - Go onto their home page and at the top, next to the Sky Poker logo, there's a big blue "Download" button.

so so annoying. My account is suspended.
I go to log in ...
Sends me to a chat help section...
I fill out 5 or 6 fields...
It asks me if my query is answered and if I need to speak to an advisor..
I write no i still need to speak to an advisor...
An empty box pops up and nothing happens
repeat x7 times. Any other ways to speak to live support without this happening?

ok spent 10 minutes on the phone with sky.
Because Im in Budapest right now I cant open a sky account. My bank card is halifax, my home address is Newcastle, I have a british passport but I cant open an account.
There is at least 3 guys in Budapest who are playing reguarly on sky and other guys who dont live in the UK.
Can somebody please verify if this is right? And if so, why is it one rule for some grinders in budapest and not for others? The guy on the phone said '' I dunno they must be lucky'' which isnt a good enough answer for me.
I dont see why I cannot open an account when I am a British person, with a registered British home address, British bank card and British passport.
Anybody?

Don't think they allow players outside of the British Isles. The other guys will be closed eventually I guess?

But we are British guys playing on British accounts, uploading money via British banks.

they allow players from United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland and Gibraltar
I assume they can tell from your ip address...did the others who are playing over there open their account in the UK...that could be the problem.

I'll answer that in a personal capacity, & not as an Agent of Next Door, I'm just trying to assist you.
The Rules upon which SB&G Operate, specifically as to Compliant Domains, state...
Am I allowed to register? - Which countries are allowed?
We accept customers based in any of the following countries:
•United Kingdom
•Ireland
•Finland
•Gibraltar
Due to our products/services being prohibited and/or restricted by local laws we do not currently accept new accounts from any other countries.
As stated here......
https://support.skypoker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/84/c/30/session/L3RpbWUvMTM3NzcwODI5Ni9zaWQvZUE1M0dWeWw%3D
The status of your UK Bank Account, UK Passport & Nationality are wholly irrelevant. If you are BASED in Hungary, SB&G will not knowingly permit you to access the Site to open an Account. It has nothing whatsoever to do with your Country of Origin.
I would assume that the software detected your IP was not Compliant.
The Rules are the same for everyone. It is probably not wise to post some of this on a site (blonde) with good SEO that others are
possibly
circumventing this via VPN's.
Sorry about that, but them's the clearly stated Rules, & they apply to everyone.

But people are openly playing from Vegas lol. I have a friend in America who plays without even a VPN. 3 guys in Hungary and know others who are playing in Europe (Germany and Austria) so either I just somehow run bad and everybody else gets let off or people are lieing about playing (cant be this as I've physically watched)
I was told the way I have to prove my self now is to phone from a uk landline or phone box and they will open it. I could just be sneaky and tell my dad to ring and give him my details but just wanted it to be a level playing field nd I wouldn't scam like that.
I really wanted to play some volume on sky but if its illegal I won't do anything stupid don't worry but maybe sky has to improve their security a little bit, if not to make things fair but so that the people who issue their licenses etc don't get pissed.
The main reason was that I wanted to send smitulatos or whatever he is called, busto heh.

I'm sure you are right, but the fact that, presumably, they detected your IP immediately, suggests the IP is auto-barred.
It is improper for me to deal with this further on this platform, as I said, I'm just trying to help in a personal capacity, & give you a steer.
