no i gave up some equity for it though. he had slight CL, i took £8k + trophy and the win, he took £8.5k
HU we had 100bbs each, was gonna go on for ages and he was good so I couldn't really be arsed to play tbh!

Tomorrow is a day that 3 of the larger members of the team have been focussed on for quite some time.
Mitch, Walster and Giblin have had a bet, £250 a man on who could run 100m, 400m and 800m the fastest - as a way to lose weight.
They've had a month or two to train and get fit and tomorrow is the race! We're going down to the track at midday tomorrow (very early for us!) and me and PJ are the officials.
Will take photos/videos of the fatties waddling down the track for the fans - gonna be comedy!

Morning Alex.
Just wanted to say how pleased for you I was last night. You looked nailed on a long way from home, though things took some unexpected twists & turns.
Your timing was impeccable, too. Aces into Jamilou's A-Q on the FT Bubble, Aces into Kings on the Final, & that awesome flopped straight on the 4-5-6 flop where you got the lot. You played pretty damn good, too.
I thought the big-stack dynamic between you & Rob Yong was incredible, especially when Rob committed to opening every single pot. It seemed to me you took your foot off the gas at times, then opened up again when conditions were more in your favour. We used to call that "gears", but I suppose it has some weird name these days, "balancing bollox" or whatever.
In an ideal world, I'd have loved one of the two lads from next door who finalled to have won, it was their biggest ever day & by a long chalk, but in 6-Max, the skill difference is accentuated, but if it were not to be either of them, I'm so pleased it was you.
Your cash will be in your Sky Poker account no later than midday tomorrow. (Beware incoming spam....). I do hope you leave a little there for the upcoming UKOPS Fessie, it is all 6-Max, & has £250,000 of Guarantee. The High Roller is £550, the Main is £220, buy-ins start at £5.50, & there are oodles of satellites every day.

A great weekend for both Bobby & you.

Will be coming down to spectate this, erm.... spectacle as well. Might try and get Goulden's autograph whilst I'm there. Wonder if he'll bring his trophy with him...

Thanks Tikay. I like how you refer to waking up with AA vs KK etc as "impeccable timing"! Like I said on the stream, I didn't really do much on the final two tables - I was really card dead when on Rob's table and had to fold a lot, then on the final I just ran like god. So it's not my proudest performance, but I'll take it! I was really pleased with my play before the last two tables though, it just so happened that I was hand-cuffed by cards and spots to do much else.
I will definitely leave some £ on Sky to play UKOPS, probably just the hiroller and main event, but we'll see!

Walster had to postpone the race by the way - sigh. At least it gives them more chance to train and lose weight

Thanks Alex.
Be assured you count as a "good winner" for us.
Anyone who runs a third party event wants a "good winner", & you fitted the bill perfectly. Nice arse, too.

Open invite to all recreational footballers, tonight notts powerleague, 730. They've got a new 7 aside pitch we're going to try out, just a social friendly kickabout. LMK if interested, we need a few more.
