Ive had a windows 8 laptop since boxing day, and I haven't even used any of the features at all. Just click old skool desktop mode and use it as a normal laptop. Don't know what the tiles are all about, took me 2 weeks to find out I was doing the long version to turn it off haha
Pretty sure I'm doing that, help plz ?

307 pages in. My cliffs/comments/thoughts so far:
- Alex has followed the dream and is doing pretty nicely out of it so far/luckboxed some tourney
- if I was a young man again with no ties as Alex is, I'd have liked a crack at this so have admiration for him following his own path
- some high-level levelling going on which has left me confused once, maybe twice. Need to up my own levelling level as it has obviously slipped due to age and fatherhood
- don't know anyone in here, apart from a few Tweet exchanges with lildave. I live in the Lakes so not exactly the heartland of UK poker
- for some reason I was expecting Mitch to be in his 50s
- really enjoying the read, but it's still a long way to go to catch up to present day
- I have my steak rare

meh not played that much, bunch of euro stuff is 2dayers so had to skip it, and faded a bunch of things.
playing really well postflop but not doing well in preflop allins.
biggest sweat is PJ who satt'd in to a 1k highroller and has 3x starting stack

Get to work today and my boss says he's taking a break from poker.
He went out of the super 50 on Friday to runner/runner pair counterfeiting his flopped
2 pair but Alex finished him off on the cash table by raising all in with a gutterball to crack the overpair.
£800 pot apparently

I think you're pretty much up to speed already
Hurry up to 800~ for the hot latvian (or wherever) dealer, and and you've got his worst every equity beat to look forward to as well (tough reading that one)
And lots of brags.
Mitch is 44.

I was on the cash table and it was a pretty sick hand. Alex had a double belly-buster though, against the KK. Obviously hit on the turn, mbn.
