Crossing over to the dark side...
Having listened to all the advice from everyone on here, I've decided to start playing heads up cash on stars. Enjoyed my heads up matches with Andy and Steve over the last couple of days and have quite a good set up for stars with table ninja, and wireless mouse/keyboard. Have played thousands of HU sngs in the past, used to be my bread and butter before I played live cash. I enjoy playing heads up and rele getting inside someones head and battering them!
Decided to move to cash rather than sngs because I think it'll help my game more, they're more interesting, potentially more profitable and I got rele bored of HU SNGs last time I tried to grind them fulltime for a living.
The plan is to play maybe 3-4hours a day and still grind live cash because I don't wanna stop doing that. This'll just be a way to a) develop my game and improve b) smooth out the ridic live variance i've been experiencing. c) more cash moneys ofc
Slapped a bag on tonight and played a 45 minute sesh just to get a feel for it. Played 2tables of 25c/50c (or 50NL as I believe you online battyboys call it) and played 270hands (9hours live lol), up $11 hehe. But promising start, played one total donkey, but the other 3 or 4 people seemed fairly solid regs. Dunno what to do about getting HM or signing up to PTR. Probs should do both right? Then search out the fish? And avoid the regs? Or just assume the regs cant be that good, (or if they are they won't sit me) and crush anyone that comes in my path? That sounds easier.
Decided to be a good boy and go home to cambridge tomorrow and see stay at my Mums for Mothers day and a few days next week. Get to see my brothers who are awesome and both home for easter
And get a few days break from live cash can't do me any harm. Will take laptop and grind out there. Should be good
