Can't sleep so I'm messing about on sporcle trying to name all the countries in each continent. As you do.

Got all 47 of Europe, all 14 of Australasia, all 48 of Asia, all 12 of south America, 21/23 of north America and 52/53 of Africa- guess which one I missed out? Zimbabwe! tilt! Also forgot dominica and dominican republic in NA bit annoying, if I get one, I get the other so close to getting the perfect score!

193/196 is pretty good going IMO, though I must admit I used to be a bit of a sporcle addict and do those quizzes loads 3/4 years ago

Weeeee. The only thing I can claim to crush you at I reckon. Oceania in sub 10 seconds, LIKE A BOSS.
Remember doing this with Sean on a break at DTD between us we crushed got all but two.

The journey back from Thailand was so brutal. 25 hours door to door. Urgh. Very grim.

Great to be back, see Hannah, reunited with Holly again, catch up with Thigh and Andy, play the piano and have a good nights sleep.

Set off at 1 for the vegas team challenge, hoping for one of two outcomes - either we bust quickly so we can head to DTD for the deepstack, or we go really deep and win it. Sadly, we had a good start but petered away and bust at like 830ish. The best moment was busting George Bedi, who was one of my teammates! Absolutely disasterous tactics you might think, but it made sense in the moment! It was 10 minutes before the hour dinner break. George was allin for 2 big blinds over a 2.5x open. He wanted to bust and go and play the deepstack, and I sort of did as well. So I reshoved for like 20 bigs with a) isoing george and b) putting myself at risk so I didn't have to stay for the dinner break! c) give myself  the chance to get a good stack and d) <3 QJ suited. The original raiser folded and I was up against George's . Board runs out two hearts , I obv say "off suit queen?" and there it is on the river Cheesy Comedy moment. Lost a big pot striaght after so I had like 7 bigs going back, and an hour to kill fml. Oh wait - there's crazy golf just around the corner SICKK!!! Met one of stato's mates (s4ooter on here) and the three of us played a quick 18 holes, very enjoyable, I surprisingly managed to luckbox a win by 5 holes, which was nice!

Got back to DTD for 920, could've still regged but there was 10 minutes left of 800/1600 then it was 1k/2k. With a 30k starting start, it was just too much of a punt, and I don't think K&K wanted us to reg that late anyway.

The buzz in the club was incredible, the £500 comp had generated their biggest ever prizepool for a gtd comp, surpassing all the previous monte carlos - £325k in the prizepool I believe. Massive sigh at missing out. Defo NOT playing the LVTC next year! I had a great time though doing the rounds, wandering around catching up with people and saying hello. I just love it there, it really feels like home - I really miss it when I'm away! Everyone kept asking to see the tattoo sigh!

I didn't stay long, went to see Hannah, but I'll be there all day today I think, might play the 150, or play cash, or just sweat the deepstack and maybe do some commentary. Gonna be a great day I think. The sweepstake is gonna be a sick sweat and have loads of sweats still in the deepstack. Sadly only one financial sweat (MC) but there's so many people I want to do well.

It was a real joy for me when I sat down in the vegas team challenge, having not played live poker for almost 2 weeks, I called a raise with A5 hearts and as soon as the flop came down xxx with two hearts - even though it was a tiny pot, in basically a bowl freezeout, I got a little buzz of excitement. Absolutely #lovethegame Smiley

Morning Alex.

Just a quick "thank you", for the DTD sweepstake.

Don't want to embarrass you overly, but threads like that are golden for blonde, 100% feel-good stuff.

More of the same, please.

What a day yesterday was.

As usual, all my sweats disappointed and bricked pre final, the useless bastards, but loved the sweat anyway. Really enjoying staking atm, even if it was slightly -ev i'd still back ppl cos I love the sweat of having a horse deep in an event. MC came 15th for 2.6k who I had 15% of, and my horsie Peejay came 7th in the £150 for £970. Was funking for JK massively too, having the run of his life in the biggest comp he's ever played - came 35th Sad

Rofled about DTD for 15 hours yesterday playing cash, tournament, more cash, railing, and then the last few hours - drinking!

Cash went pretty mental. The game was just 1/2, and it was sick good. Me ol pal Stretch was in the game (one of the donny lads) and he was dying to make the blog for once - his involvement in my biggest ever pot has definitely warranted an inclusion!

He raises £15 utg, I 3b from the bb to £55, he calls.

, I bet £75 he calls. on the turn, I bet £200, he raises to £700, I jam for £2.3k total, he snaps with and thank god we fade the one outer for a nice £4.8k pot. What a fkn luckbox I am, again!

Ran pretty golden all night really, which was immensely enjoyable, was winning 4.5k at my peak (in a 1/2 game WAL!) then got in £1k on the flop with Walster with   two spades vs his two hearts on in a 3b pot - just lol! Ran it twice and bricked both sigh! That was the only pot I ran bad in, the rest I was golden - flopped two sets vs Aces to win big pots, flopped a flush vs top set for a >2k pot, made some good calls and nice value bets and one big bluff that worked yay!

Game died at 3am, ended up getting absolutely wrecked in the bar with 3 people I'd never met before, but knew of - london geezers Richie Allen and his brother, and Dan Elder - great bunch of lads, we had a quality time on the jaeger, sambuca and beers. Not a bad day at the office! Pretty sure I embarrassed myself horribly on the live update thread and in front of the entire club. Tighty will no doubt confirm...

Won £3.5k for the day, another sick result, 2012 is just beautiful so far! [ ] car curse [X] tattoo charm.

Never met Dan but Richie and Kev are two of the funniest people I've ever met. Just always have me in stitches - particularly if Flushy is about. Kev rips him about 3 new arseholes every 5 minutes.

Keith tried explaining something along those lines to Alex. Did not go down well.
