I've seen it too.  It's most deffo not a show, it's a play.  I'm going to see how wiki describes it, coz silo loves the wiki.

I do,but not after people go to "check it out" Wink

Thanks to all, congratulations to RedSimon, I'm sure he'll make an excellent quiz Smiley

why didn't  you check all the wiki pages to see which were shows and which were plays then.  i cba to edit pages over something that is so clearly in no need of editing.

cos if it's on in the West End, I'm classing it as a show.

Bollocks, question 10 to come Sad

but you can't just randomly decide what constitutes a show when there's already a very clear definition of what defines a 'show' and what defines a 'play'

Surely by now you've realised that objecting is utterly pointless?

there was room for ambiguity on the other questions, but to remain steadfast on something this cut and dried is just astonishing imo

Mine was cut and dry as well.

But that doesn't matter. All that matters is what the QM meant.

I think Claw is incorrect. I went to watch yes Prime Minister recently and it was definitely a West End Show. As it was a play in a West End threatre. To define show as a musical only is far too narrow

What is the definition of show as I can't find it?

in west end theatre show = musical.

look at the wiki pages of each individual production mentioned and it'll describe them as either a 'play' or a 'show' imo

i am surprised you of all people don't understand the difference.

people of your calibre would usually turn their noses up at the idea of seeing a 'show'

Not at all. I have seen Jersey Boys three times and Les Mis twice. Loved them both
