Goodness, surely non-debatable answers!  Sigh, thought this was going to be a breeze!

Question 1 was just an Ocean, didn't have to be a body of water

They are Star Wars characters, it's all part of the brand.   There's a Star Wars Trilogy, it's not  something else trilogy is it

Cf's blog is incorrect for the Star Wars Character as far as i'm aware.

Objection to Lando, Jabba, Jar Jar, Jango

They weren't in "the film" "Star Wars"

seconded (just for something to do)

a star wars character ie in any of the films IMO

IS CF'S BLOG A CORRECT ANSWER FOR THIS ONE?

How can it be any film when it says "THE film"?

By that argument any of the expanded universe characters count. Fair enough. But it says "the film", so they don't. It doesn't say "the films". So it can only be "Star Wars".

Objection

Who is Danny Ocean?

From Ocean's 11

and was this specified as a fictional character, or did respondent think it was a body of water?

question does not ask to name a body of water...

I know that.

However the farce quotient is too low, cf blog aside

no, but it does say 'name an ocean', implying an actual ocean, not a figment of someone's imagination.  If i'd said 'bob ocean - a character that featured in a short story i wrote once' should that be allowed?

Agree, shouldn't be allowed. You don't refer to people in that way. It'd be "name someone called ocean" or some such.

Billy Ocean is technically not a real person,it's not his real name.

Star Wars characters http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Star_Wars_characters

Allowed all those imo

No, I said
Name a Star Wars character (not a race, a "person" in the film)

Not Name a person in the film Star Wars.    Completely different.

well slightly different.
