Billy Ocean is technically not a real person,it's not his real name.

Star Wars characters http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Star_Wars_characters

Allowed all those imo

Please read and reply to my previous post. You clearly said "the film".

Further would -47 be allowed? Appears in an officially endorsed SW game.

Of course he wouldn't. He's not in "the film".

Objection

Who is Danny Ocean?

From Ocean's 11

and was this specified as a fictional character, or did respondent think it was a body of water?

question does not ask to name a body of water...

no, but it does say 'name an ocean', implying an actual ocean, not a figment of someone's imagination.  If i'd said 'bob ocean - a character that featured in a short story i wrote once' should that be allowed?

Agree, shouldn't be allowed. You don't refer to people in that way. It'd be "name someone called ocean" or some such.

question shouldve been better worded then. too late to cry now lol

No, I said
Name a Star Wars character (not a race, a "person" in the film)

Not Name a person in the film Star Wars.    Completely different.

well slightly different.

why didn't you say 'in the films' then? eh? eh?

Just uphold my perfectly correct objection and we can move on.

Or join the ranks of QMs who just say, "well, what it MEANT to say was this" and mark your answers based on whatever you want.

more standard than individual items imo.  who orders anything but a meal at kfc?

Honestly don't get how that question can be interpreted as anything other than "Name a character in the film Star Wars". Completely farcical ruling.

I'm prepared to listen to objections but these are clearly just nit picking.  if the answer was Peter Pan and I'd given it as correct, I'd listen and change things accordingly, but I know what you bunch are like!   The answers are all good so far.
