Must happen to a lot of ex footballers/athletes.  When they retire theyre no longer training hard every day and dont need to watch their diet or anything.  Isnt it easier to put on tons of weight if you spent years in great shape then just stopped training?

Yep, could be a good thread actually - post your fat fuck footy photos.

I live near David Hirst (legend) and he looks like a big ol fat barrel these days. He often goes drinking with Chris Waddle (legend) who is also looking a bit porky and Carlton Palmer (legend) who actually looks in good shape still.

Rooney will almost certainly go that way imo

Razor Ruddock is like a beachball now but that was never a surprise - he was always a fat guy waiting to get out. Matt Le Tissier quickly put on a big belly, which looked worse on him as he has quite a slight frame.
