Recently got  a new PC and find that I have difficulty when replying to posts through the "quote" function.

When I use this option and begin to type my reply the text box automatically jumps back up to the start of the quoted post, therefore I am unable to see what I am typing unless I scroll down again.

Very frustrating

Any ideas.

(turned it on and off many times Tom.)

Best to download Firefox and try using that.

Mine has done the same with IE8 I believe.

Switching it to Compatibility Mode (icon near 'refresh' & 'stop' icons adjacent to address bar - from memory, normal caveats!) seems to do the trick.

However, I do find that Compatibility Mode seems to toggle itself off at random, lengthy intervals Sad

The standard fix for any IE bug is - don't use IE

That one always works and doesn't randomly toggle itself on and off
