Ant, I always thought you were pretty nitty with your money so if you don't mind me asking how did you go from 20k with a 3 shot rule at higher limits to depleting a roll in no time?
Not a rub at all as I've thrown away more rolls than a baker.

i was following sharkscope over my actual bankroll to calculate funds. So i would use the recent history search feature and it would tell me one figure of profit when in reality it was no where near that, i couldnt believe how inaccurate it was.
Then i had tilt fuelled high end shots that got no where, and also got hit with some real life withdrawals that were quite expensive, paying for holidays etc. and then all of a sudden i was there at $800. Not to worry thought i will pwn again and ride the blows with more of a backbone. Just gonna show the patience now to wait till i get back up there. I think by the end of june i will have $20k, but no pressure obv, i just am feeling really confident.

It was more i chose to ignore the amount in my accounts and hope for the best and bink big. Sharkscope didnt help and put me into a flase sense of security. Also how withdrawls take a while to get into ure bank account confused matters.
Mainly i can describe it as mad shot taking tilt.

Last three of a tourn with the payouts of 250 for third 375 for second and $600 for first had the chip lead and went out last with a dodgy all in call.

about $500 up tonight, came 4th in a 6k gtd where i made a big mistake to cl when i was second in chips that is haunting me, but i'm not too bothered i have learnt from it i won't let it happen again. Got very unlucky on some final table bubble my favourite of the night being when sb shoves 38 into my bb of QQ and hits 888 on flop, that hurt. I'm going at a good rate at the moment and hope to keep it up!

two weeks ago my roll was $800 now it is $4.5k but i have a $2.5k backlog of student loans coming in that will help but ignoring that i have made $3.7k in two weeks so its not bad going with a $1k up day tonight. I won a 3k gtd for $780, made 3 final tables and came 14th in a 100k gtd for $800.
I hit some real bad luck at times tonight so i am happy that i was eventually up nicely, annoying close shaves as well, but in most of the spots i really couldn't have done anything.
I am going to continue playing the games i am playing being the $10-$33fs and the odd $55f, $5r-$10rs as well. Also satelliting into the bigger tournaments on each site, obviously ignoring the ones where their biggie is a rebuy because that makes the satellites for them slightly defunct.
Enjoying it now and i have a lovely foundation to push onto the $20k prediction of a roll by the end of June. Hopefully with this blog and proper bankroll management i will be always playing sensibly and recording winning months, knowing that winning days are not always in the bag.
