I have enjoyed reading this, I am just getting into poker myself and enjoy playing MTT of about 45 players or so. Only one at a time at the moment though as it's more for fun than taking it ultra serious.
What sites do you play on? I have ditched pokerstars for the moment as I have faced so many bad beats on the river there :/

Hey CAI, cheers for the kind words
play on the sites that were intially unavailble to americans before, like ipoker, party and ongame.
Your not gonna get much love on here talking about bad rivers on pokerstars btw! Just to warn you. Greekstein just waits in the mists to pop up and ridicule statements like that!
Update with me. I'm on the pwnage ting. Won $2000 last night, about $150 tonight and im keeping nicely within a good bankroll management structure to not have too huge a fluctuation.
Will tell you where i normally go wrong and its later on today (sunday). I just think ahh well its only one day in the week i will just buy in this one time into the biggies across the sites, never again. No more shots!
Closest thing to a shot i am going to do again is either
1)i have played a lot of low buy ins in the day and to have a biggie as an outlier will still keep the overall average buy in for the day at a sensible level. or
2)I get backed for a live event and put up 50% of myself or whatever.
Got a nice routine going and the one time i remember a sustained period of this feeling i was dominant, until i went on a hliday to break the run then all of a sudden i never got my composure back.
So i'm playing it cool and just going to pwn these tournaments and have no regrets. Tonight and yesterday i never really made 1 tilt move which is rare for me, i normally make one gambly type of move a night but recently i have been proud of nearly every decision, whether it proved to be right or wrong when the cards were faced up.
I'm rambling anyway and will end in saying tonight i am sattellting into every major i can and playing tourns not really over the $55f mark. So hope for some binkages.

I know everyone has there bad beats but the fustration from riverstars was killing me giving myself a break from there, although I might play some UKIPT sats for newcastle. As I said though, only really playing small stakes, single mtt or 6/9 player sngs at the moment.

3/4 tourns left on the night and i am up $4000.
Made a nasty mistake heads up in a tourn. We were playing for $2100 and he was a weak player but i just couldn't get there.
Live and you learn though and i am happy with how things have gone down tonight.
Hope it continues.
Still in a 100k gtd 112/120 in the money atm. If that gets won i will report again in about 4 hours time.

Round up on the night.
Up $4960.
Won a $2k gtd, a $1.5k gtd, and a $3k gtd. Came 4th in a $2.2k gtd, 10th in a $3.5k gtd. 7th in a $1.5k gtd.
Came second in a $15k gtd as well
cashed in many other tournaments including some biggies that i sattellited into for a nice profit
So i was in dominating form all night. Had a very close call for that second place. AJ beat my 77 all in pre to win it all but i still had a decent stack but i made a mistakeso i didn't win the $2k extra for first.
With the other tourns i was playing relatively flawlessly. Was multitabling 16 at a time through the night with no hassle. I am thinking about buying a desktop so i have the capability to have two external monitors working for me to have 12 tables each on them for 24 tables in total. I hope I would be able to handle that and i think with a bit of practice that will feel the same as playing 16.
Life Roll is up to $13500 and from having but $800 to my name last month its a great achievmant. I said by the end of June i would have a $20k roll. I am hoping now by that time i have a $30k roll. Here is to hoping and to finally let this be the final push into the big bucks and into insuring that i could possibly pay for a house outright in the future. That is the dream.

Cheers. Don't need to teach that man anything, he can play as much as me and most probably better than me (can never admit hes better fully!) he just literally needs to sit down at his desk and get started and hes fine. If he had a strategy to get from whatever it is hes doing to his poker setup up he would have no problems. Too busy travelling around the world anyway from the sounds of it! What has gone on with the sngs on stars then? Have heard regulars on here moan about them but havne't been bother to look up what the problem is myself?
