Y do u want to play over ur bed for? Surely desk and chair is better
Got a really bad back and can't hack sitting upright for too long. Need to be in a sort of sitting up position in bed for me to feel no real pain and be in a good position to play poker. Thinking now the way around it might be to have a desk with a decently big opening underneath it for me maybe to sneak a recliner chair in and see if i can mimic the effects.
Going to sort that out Tuesday of next week and try and see what can be done and try maybe to be a little creative to get to a good compromise.

Probably going to stop with the poker position updates. Might occassionally suggest to search my name if things are interesting but should really concentrate as much as I can.
Today I am looking into converting my room and enquiring about that new desk I desire. From looking online I don't think u can get a heavy duty overbed desk but will start ringing places today. Have to do a clearout of all things I don't need as well because my room gets used as a dumping site for hoarding.
Also going to calculate the br and change up my grind slightly. Been playing a lot of 300+ tourns in terms of runners and this is too many for non super turbos as that is too many to sift through.
I just can't hack that on a regular basis.
I can however do it daily if its one or two tournaments maybe, but they need to stop being the main grind.
Probably going to concentrate on all turbos below 300 ppl and the 100fs of the slower structure under that as well and 50 euros freezeouts are good aswell. Get a mix of the turbos and nice slower structure tourns and I am onto a winner and a happy man
If your exercising good bankroll management what is it that you cant hack?
Does there come a point where you have to move out of your parents?
i just like to keep winning more regularly than i would playing more runners and that is the aspect i can't hack.
yeh i could move out but i feel like i am close to getting my grind down to a tee, and if i can keep winning large amounts i would rather be saving so i can possibly do something towards a deposit towards a flat or something, would obv be some years yet, but i do like it here and why not i guess.
may get bored and look to move out though, will see, but always hoping i will get a good run soon and be able to start saving large amounts.
I wasnt saying you should move out! You have it pretty amazing so should defo take advantage of the situation which it sounds like you plan to do.

I didn't even steal it.
So surreal when you see 3 100ks on a scratchcard. The guy has a young kid and another on the way to be take to him so hope he spends wisely and also that he gives the host at least 25k. He did buy him the ticket after all.

I've been at a party before where the ticket was a fake. You can buy them online for a couple of quid. Pretty sick joke though if they leave it too long. They look proper legit apart from a small line on the back which says this ticket cannot be redeemed for cash or something along those lines. Hope not for his sake.

Went on for way too long for it to be a fake I think. The ticket looked real enough but Obv can't be sure it was real. The reactions were weirdly muted though but pretty sure it was shock, if that is bad acting instead then fair play.

Most definately. I'm 95% sure its real.
In other news I had a cigar last night and smoked it like a real man, inhaling all the smoke all the way to the butt. About an hour later I got violently ill eventually getting sick back home. Didn't know you weren't supposed to inhale, ruined my night unfortunately, but you live and you learn #layl

Thinking about either watching Palace versus Leicester today at Selhurst Park, or playing the 100f at the fox with 10k guaranteed. Apparently they should be getting around 150 runners, so i might quite fancy this for a change. Approaching it as a punt and my sole purpose is to be experimental and try to learn more than i normally do about the ebb and flow of a live tournament because i normally always never pay any attention when i am not in a hand and also can get quite easily frustrated with the slow pace and wanting to get involved more than i should be.
Or the classic of waiting for a decent starting hand and because i haven't played in a while i will keep on calling down the streets even though i shouldn't just because i am frustrated. Got so many live flaws to iron out its pretty depressing. Trying later on today to just learn as much as i can.
Thinking about bringing a pen and a pad to add the amount in pots as the blinds change just so i can get my head around the average pot sizes and then how much i should be betting relative to my stack and if i get funny looks then fuck them. I have always had stuttering problems with not being able to calculate all of the small things online players have no problem with because the info is so apparent. Need to become more aware of my stack size, theirs, and the amount in the pot and may do the pen and the pad, actually my mobile notepad might be better lol.
Hopefully i will enjoy it if i decide to go and in any case i hope Palace do another win and secure a play off spot. We have the joint second best defensive record in the league in terms of goals conceded all season and if we can muster some sort of solid routine up front then we should be nestling in around 4th place this year, but with our wage structure in attracting new players and current players i don't know where that firepower is coming from. Plus our young gun attacking players are all great but their finishing is poor. The likes of Sean Scannell and Wilfried Zaha.
Happy new year peeps.

You might have said previously, but your always commenting about yr back. Have u seen a Dr ? Physio ? Specialist ? Your still young so I'd want that sorted ASAP if I were u.
Might also then help with decision about grind station

yeh all sorted with the doc with my back, its a chronic condition that cannot be eased, so i just need to make sure i don't aggravate it. It isn't stopping me playing football at the moment, but it is a nasty day after a game when i am in quite a bit of pain.
As soon as i get the station sorted i think a lot of the problem i have with my grind is settled. Need to set a day aside to actually sort it. Still haven't felt right since that cigar btw, bloody alkaline poisoning.

The last guy I saw bringing a pen and paper to the table was in Gala a few months ago. He sat down with £50 and his friend sat behind him. The friend seemed eager to learn off his mate.
He drew a circle which was meant to be the table and dots where each of the players sat. We told him to label certain players with hilarious [ ] nicknames and stuff which he did though never said a word. He wrote "Balance 10pm: £50" and then put his pen down and watched what was going on. He folded mostly and then ten minutes later, he wrote "Balance 10.10pm: £46".
"Balance 1030pm £35". There'd be a farcical hand involving someone calling £15 pre with 24o then c/raising allin with a gutshot or something but he didn't write things like that down.
He wrote down the timings of the dealer change and the size of his stack every 10 minutes. At no point did he write about a hand or anything that had happened. He also never uttered a word. He got stacked, then sat at the next table with his mate going through this piece of paper, analysing it, trying to see where he went wrong. After 15 minutes or so, they got up and left, never seen them since.
Utterly bizarre.
