TYTY

Sneaky of Pokerstars to snap put up TWO 200 x2 on at 03.00 this morning. Anticipating my participation, they snap duplicated the tournament. GG $800. Already in for $250 in this turbo 50r regging 45 mins late as is the usual for me. I won't have anything by wednesday morning but it would have been a fucking blast!

I just read through the long post above, very good. I did a pre season once with Ilkeston Town FC and the manager at the time was
keith Alexander (RIP, he was an amazing motivator) i remember telling him about how i was going to work hard on my game to improve
and he said "Dont tell me i dont want to know just do it".
Guess all he was saying was there are people who say and people who do, his words really stuck with me though.

The Mental Game of Poker is a fascinating read, would love to do a session with Jared one day. And regarding poker training
sites may i suggest Tournament Poker Edge which i have recently joined. Im really enjoying Daryl "aaaaaaaaa" Jace.

All the best, and dont beat yourself up at taking a shot so what, just dont repeat to often. Very best of luck.

Ty for your input, the words of doing rather than just saying are resonating with me and i will applying it to a lot of things in my life as a whole because i need to get a move on. Dream would be to be a full time poker pro with semi pro footie on teh side. Would be nice! Need to be thinking about a longer term career tho, and will be looking to do volunteering towards that during the year part time. No idea what, but it may be journalism as i have decent contacts, but I would need to fine tune my writing tekkers to a much better standard if i want to be thinking about actually getting paid to write.

Party hasn't stopped yet. 1 tabling the hot 22 18/108 with 3.8k up top.

Min cashed a lot of the other tourns and am up $400 since the big bink. Been a nice night. I am going to desperately try and qualify for teh 1k super tuesday just for the japes and i think a bink there would be nice. Proabbaly try and register before the tourn starts, may be an idea.

Didn't get anywhere in the last tourn.

Tonight will be the last time i play for a while, desperate to get into the super tuesday and i think i will be trying via the 350$ 6 man super turbo satellites, hoping first that maybe i can qualify into that somehow so i won't be having to punt so much outright.

Will also be playing all the high end turbos and may well be dropping all that are under 55$ and dabble a little with the $109+ standard tourns and see how i fare. I do get uncomfortable in them without a hud, because they are slower and the post flop play is so much more crucial. In the turbos which i love you really don't have to know how to play post flop and i quite like the ease of it. However, need to learn eventually how to crush the slower tourns and i feel the best way to do so is to jump right in. Tonight i will be doing so bareback without proper HUD protection, neither too much familiarity at crushing the slower tourns. So i am going to be a lot more vulnerable than i am in the turbos, but i will just have to adapt and i will be going pretty bonkers LAG to see what i can get away with and to perhaps find the best ways to create non showdown chips.

Going to enjoy tonight, hopefully because i take down another big score. I am feeling good right now and the confidence i have had in tourns recently has been amazing. The tourn that i binked 8.4k in earlier i had final tabled on saturday night and came 11th on the friday, before finally getting the result tonight. I think that is coincidence more than anything but i have been getting continually deep in a lot of turbos and my style is becoming pretty solid. Have some leaks, definitely, but i can see them getting mended after the hud and revision gets underway.

So tonight is my last night of playing online poker on a whim. I will let all the crazy out, then calm down, and approach this game like a job and hope that the groundwork that i do can sprout some amazing results for the rest of the year and well into the next!

Been lurking and reading for a while..

Really hope you're able to control yourself when it comes to your fill and life stuff.

Its not easy, but you need to he honest about how to control yourself.  I have failed to do so too, which is why I try and keep as much of it in public as possible.

Nice bink fella, now get your grownups grind on. Cheesy

just dipped into your diary, and just wondered if you had tried Atkins diet.

I have done it a couple of times and the weight just drops off. Good thing is you don't feel hungry and it didn't take me more than a week or two too achieve my goal. Plus eating eggs and bacon for breakfast and steak for dinner isn't too much of a hardship for a short while.

my new desktop background Smiley

have 11 tournaments left i think, down about $2500 currently so will need some help, it cost me $600 in 3x 200 sats to get into the big 1k tonight, but the sats were turbos and had an edge, qualified in one and ul in the other two.

came 1oth in the turbo 11 dolla where first was 6k, made a mistake, that hurt. Been building stacks everywhere and thus far been getting unlucky, hope all my luck comes in the super tuesday tbh.
